While the national media is raving about Dante Moore (who had a good game for a freshman QB), the story they seem to be missing is that the Bruin defense made a major step forward. FFS, the held a team known for its prowess at the run to 63 yards rushing, and an average of 1.9 yds per carry. SDSU, had to try and rely on the pass.....and while they managed to get almost 200 yards passing, it came in dribs and drabs w/ an average pass of only 5.2 yards, and THREE interceptions. Jalen Mayden, the Aztecs QB spent much of the game under pressure, running for his life, hurried, and sacked.

Love the way the Bruins are playing defense, because it’s defense that wins championships. Off to a solid start but there’s a long way to go and the PAC-12 is loaded this year. Go Bruins!!

I mean, SDSU isn’t as good as they were in 2021. UCLA hasn’t really been tested all that much. Their first big test is at Utah, so we’ll see how Moore and their defense play then.

Moore got some zip and he throws from different angles. I love it, defensively off the snap and making tackles. Handle business next week

As an Irish fan, this is why I wanted him in an Irish uni so badly. I knew the kid was ready to play at a high level right away. He's so damn good.

This could be Chips Kelly’s best team he has had in his 6 seasons with ucla. All the players get along off and on the field very well. I just hope they win a bowl game this season. If they make it and win it, this will be the first one in his 6 seasons with ucla. Dante is the real deal. It took 5 years for DTR to be really good. Hopefully moving forward, this will be a on going thing with ucla football success.

@@davidhoopsfan --- First 15 minutes, SDSU could go toe to toe with UCLA. Second quarter and beyond, it was all UCLA. UCLA is physically too much for SDSU. I would be surprised if SDSU makes it to a bowl game, but I think this is going to be a long season for SDSU.

As an SDSU alumni I wanted the team to win but I have been a Bruin fan since grade school. Great game though. San Diego really needs to work on its Defense.

Yep, the conference is absolutely loaded. Will be tough for any team to get through it

The Aztecs can step up their program by replacing UCLA in the PAC 12.

On behalf of SDSU we are all very unimpressed with that performance, especially the offense. A "running" team? Who is our runner? What run game? Just a horrible National TV implosion. Unable to gain one yard off the goal line turnover? Really? #13 turn in your helmet & uniform.. National embarrassment. Even worse listening to commentators whos kids play for UCLA biase reporting just added to our frustration.
