Ladies, if you get pine resin or any tree resin on your skin all you need to use is olive oil. Put a little olive oil on the resin rub it well. The oil breaks down the resin, wipe off with a paper towel or leave it and let it do its medicinal stuff. Works wonders. 😊

When I was in school for Dietetic Technician degree, the book The Profession of Dietetics, 6th edition. They go over some of the history of vitamin deficiencies. In 1747 the earliest known clinical trial was from Dr. James Lind. He did an experiment with 12 men with scurvy on the way from England to Plymouth. He divided the men into groups of 2 and had 6 different concoctions he gave them. The group that used lemons & oranges recovered immediately and helped nurse the others. That lead to the discovery of Vitamin C deficiency and a cure for scurvy. 💛💚🧡 🤓

He is now 27, has a job at a welding company, and drives himself to and from that job. He still can not verbally express himself without assistance but is doing amazingly better than others who have autism. and has been driving a vehicle

Yes Yes YES!! I've been harvesting White Pine needles since winter of 2021. I grew up in Maine (the Pine Tree state) and after all this time, I was praying, and one day in the cold middle of the winter in Maine, the Holy Spirit spoke to me when I was recovering from the c-19 and I heard very subtly to go to the backyard and harvest pine needles. I made a tea that afternoon and ever since i've been harvesting pine needles! Just filled a jar yesterday! 5 needles per cluster! An oil would be awesome to make! So fun ladies! Nice work. Thank you for all your inspiration and help! 💚🌲💚

I love white pine needle tea. I have found it's best if you boil the water then let it sit for a few minutes before pouring it onto the needles. Let the tea steep for 8 to 10 minutes then drink it. Remember boiling water will always make things more bitter and it will destroy some of its health benefits. Love your videos

Check out the Canadian history. The information I have found is from the captain of a ship from first settlers. I’m paraphrasing. The native people prescribed white pine tea for the sailors when their teeth began to loosen and bleed from scurvy. Reputedly, the reversal happened in a matter of weeks and the gums firmed up around the teeth.

The key to pine needle tea is not to boil them. Boil water yes, but then take it off the burner b4 adding needles & allow at least 10 min of steeping. Its much more palletable & u dont make it like a concentrate & end up pouring it out. Its an old remedy where im from in east texas. Many benifits. It clears brain fog too. ❤️🎯 Thank you, ladies, i love ur channel! Ive learned so much! Heres my 2 cents for what its worth. 😁💕

I love pine needle tea!! I first ordered it during the cV19 & i was surprised that it came powdered!! I use 1/2tsp per cup of hot water. Its such a mild flavor that i sometimes add it to whatever tea im drinking 😊 Its very high in shikimic acid which is why they used it for tamiflu (they synthetically copied it in lab to reproduce it). Ive heard they either dont make it or you cant get it anymore. Pine needles have 5x MORE vit.C than oranges!!! Works great in a honey lemon syrup. I may even do an onion syrup with that

I knew about and drink the tea and recently read about the resin but the rest is new knowledge. What I love about the tea is the amount of vitamin C which is a natural anti-inflammatory. For me, it is a light taste compared to the aroma. This is good as I’m not a tea drinker normally. You and your mom really present things so easily and easy to understand. Im going to make a tincture along with you to see how well I do, and then the salve. I’ve only made a salve once so this will be a fun project. Hello Ladies! I've heard that any kind of oil, (avocado, olive, etc) works great to get pitch off your fingers. I tested this myself a few months ago working with pitch. The oils broke it down wonderfully. Have a wondrous day!

I wonder how the pine would be in a tea with rose hips? 🤔 Both are good for vitamin C.

I have a white pine ridge at the back of my yard, they are 50-60 ft tall BUT they drop small bunches of top needles often! This year the garden had a light amount of hand sized fronds but last year they were from my elbow to the tips, piles of them. Also when I mushroom forage I see baby pine trees, plenty in my yard too, where you can simply grab the fresh needles , strip them and put in my trug. I chop needles into quarters for tea now or freezing them for a winter tea source. I save blister boxes that I buy some seeds in bulk and reuse them for freezing parboiled longbean cuts, pine needles and fig slices!

also side info 'pine essential oil' is great when you carry the burdens of the world, you feel perpetual responsibility for all that ails folks. I had to leave a toxic relationship for a while and felt so guilty for that choice but the pine air from the EO soothed me and made me stick it out with Gratitude!

I tried this a couple years ago as a tea and I really enjoyed it, but if I remember correctly my friend boiled/steeped it for like 20 minutes or so and it took on a really pretty pink colour. As far as I know it was just the needles but I'm not 100% sure. Can't wait to find some.

Cedar tea is very tasty, also used by Native peoples forever. There's different ways it said to be made to reduce any toxin or whatnot I don't have details, sorry, just the suggestion to try it, and perhaps mix with the pine tea to make a tasty, useful combo. Cheers
