Roy Orbison. What a legend. My husbands favourite from the 60s. We saw him live in Sydney in 1982 in a local RSl club and he was amazing. He just quietly came on stage, no fanfare, sang and played his all time hits which sounded just like originals we loved in the 60s, then he said thank you very much for coming, bowed and quietly left the stage. Best live performance ever of anyone I have been too. He often came to Australia and played to small clubs as he said he liked the intimacy of it. We both still love his music and always will. Thankyou Roy for you music and the legacy it left us.

The first recording on tape I had a reel-to-reel tape recorder portable could I record music off the radio then I can listen to him wherever I went most the time I'm a bicycle I live in Northern California water redwoods good music back then a lot of good times. Let the good times roll on and on. Sign chief. PS lots of transistor radios back then my first one was only a.m. I think it was a two transistor Saturday one of the 10 it was am and FM. 9-volt batteries when I went dead put the battery up to your tongue with both bronze stick it in the freezer for awhile it did work for a little bit.

I love Roy Orbison.
I just remembered how good this song really is. Moreover, it makes me feel jolly.
One of the prettiest songs ever composed. Such a effortless and gentle way of singing...
In the 60s this was what you saw on any given Saturday afternoon. The music was incredible.
Roy may not be here but his songs will be heard for ever.
A true International Hit that is still played worldwide.
Any man that could impress Elvis has to be topnotch. He was sent to Heaven way too soon. RIP Roy
Letra: Pretty woman, walkin' down the street Pretty woman the kind I like to meet Pretty woman I don't believe you, you're not the truth No one could look as good as you, mercy Pretty woman won't you pardon me Pretty woman I couldn't help but see Pretty woman that you look lovely as can be Are you lonely just like me Pretty woman stop awhile Pretty woman talk awhile Pretty woman give your smile to me Pretty woman yeah, yeah, yeah Pretty woman look my way Pretty woman say you'll stay with me 'Cause I need you, I'll treat you right Come with me baby, be mine tonight Pretty woman don't walk on by Pretty woman don't make me cry Pretty woman don't walk away, hey, OK If that's the way it must be, OK I guess I'll go on home, it's late There'll be tomorrow night, but wait What do I see? Is she walkin' back to me? Yeah, she's walkin' back to me Oh, oh, pretty woman.

My first name is Roy so I give this a thumbs up but this man could sing his ass off
It seems like 1966 was yesterday. Amazing memories!❤
What was your hurry to leave so early man? You will always be a legend R.İ.P.
Nothing sounds better!! I still want to dance to it and it should be played at my funeral.
When this song was at the top of the charts, I'd take my 45 record of this song over to my best friend's (Ruth) house and play it continuously and danced to it till i was exhausted! She didn't agree with my choice of this particular song, but she let me dance my fool head off anyways! I loved her for that!
This song is immortal! It will live forever!

Aqui no Brasil fez sucesso em Uma linda mulher.grande filme.
Brings back so many memories that summer I was a young teenager working driving machinery.
Hard to believe such a talented man is buried in an unmarked grave.
