His the author of several books including “A Billion Wicked Thoughts” (2011), “This is What It Sounds Like: What the Music You Love Says About You” (2022), “Journey of the Mind: How Thinking Emerged from Chaos” (2022) among several others. His work focuses on a unified account of the mind that explains how consciousness, language, the Self, and civilization emerged incrementally out of chaos. A Grand Unified Theory of Consciousness.

Dr N -- I asked you to interview some dualists, and here you have just done so! Thanks!!! After saying that, it is not clear to me that Ogi Ogas realizes what he is describing is a form of dualism. From what I could tell from the interview, his worldview is that: Matter exists Matter interacting creates dynamics Dynamic behavior creates awareness/experience (dynamic behavior is emergent, and awareness is an identity theory with dynamic behavior). Agency seems to be a further tier of emergence, and once agency is achieved, causal closure of just the physical is broken. Agency, and later consciousness, and then various meta-consciousness levels, are further identity theories with respect to higher level phenomena that emerge from the dynamics of dynamics. I most people should be fairly comfortable with this model, and it is in "near" physicalist terms. It takes advantage of the issue that Whitehead noted - that materialism and physicalism fail to account for PROCESSES, which are dynamic phenomena, not objects. Whitehead tried to redo ontology as a monism around processes, but an approach of trying to treat physics as being an integration of process and object -- strikes me as more useful. However, Ogi tries to prevent physics from including processes, as he identifies processes as embedding agency and intentionality. THIS strikes me as wrong -- most processes have no intentionality and almost certainly no awareness. OK, to critiques. Identity theories are testable. I heard no effort to identify test cases for any of his identities. Within US -- we can test any identity claim relative to neuronal processing, and show that no action of our neurons, and no functions, are identical to consciousness, as we do basically all processing, and all functions, both consciously and unconsciously. If processes do not generate awareness, and we do lots of processes that seem not to generate awareness, then the entire theoretical structure that builds on this identity -- collapses. The rest of the higher tiers, are then just unsupported speculation. More critique. Science does not require math. The development of the science of psychology did not require a math model from James. The theory of evolution, did not require a math model. Adam Smith, and his theory of free markets, did not require a math model. math models are often highly useful, but they are not a prerequisite for science. Ogi knows this, as he cited the use of science notebooks as a crucial event in science, and notebooks are not a math theory. But he does not seem to believe what he knows ... Support for Ogi and his extraterrestrials. Ogi is clearly intelligent, and functional. Calling him insane because he gets non-physical info is -- itself insane -- as the criteria for insanity is obviously FALSE in his case. Further support -- if you consider Ogi crazy, you will have to consider me crazier. And I think you have enjoyed my commenting on these interviews, and hope you have found these comments insightful. Note I am a practicing mystic, and have communicated not only with IntEx, but with Ghosts, Angels, Demons, other minor spirits, past lives, and with God. Ogi is far from unique. I would like to offer Ogi some advice and caution, however. I think from the interview that he has absorbed most of it already, but I would like to reinforce the points. 1) Even if a message is not coming from yourself, you cannot trust it to be true. 2) AND -- even if it happens to be "true", the more important question is whether it is morally better and wiser than what you can come up with on your own. 3) If communication with entities is under your control (and try to make it so it is under your control) -- then seeking "knowledge" rather than "love or "welfare" leaves one open to manipulation by entities that may not have your best interests at heart. This is true no matter what star system the entities say they are from. 4) I can strongly recommend a cautionary tale -- an investigative journalist who joined a channeling circle, and came to be manipulated by the channeled entities. His first book about them was a glorification of their "wisdom". The second was a dark tale of psychological abuse by them. Here is a review; zaporacle.com/the-siren-call-of-hungry-ghosts/#gsc.tab=0 5) After the cautionary tale, I can offer what I have found to be a reliable methodology to do communication. I see this as spirit communication, but it would not take much of a transform to recast it as ET communication. The method will get you to the love-based Five. See: www.bswett.com/1990-03TwoWayPrayer.html I also endorse Ogi's di-theism worldview. IF there is a deity of Love, THEN the only way this world with all its evil and imperfections is possible, is if there is an opposing entity of very similar power. Ogi's assumption of tiers of very strong emergence, building off an initially physicalist substrate, with Gods emergent from matter, IS a version of theism -- and with di-theism, he has arrived at one of the few valid theist answers to the Problem of Evil.

@@drtevinnaidu Dr N -- you have an open and enquiring mind, and I think you could find first person empiricism books on exploring spirituality to be -- interesting. Joseph Fisher's Hungry Ghosts would be a compelling start to such explorations. Reading the review on Zapdos is much less of an investment of time, and may pique your interest further. Robert Monroe's books are also an excellent intro to this field. So is Edith Fiore's the Unquiet Dead. Any of the first person experience books written by the StarGate remote viewers are also fascinating.

Ogi, look at how Chaotic systems interact. Large numbers of them, in a weakly connected network, can give rise to quasi-linear systems if they "resonate". If we are going to switch to a QM view, we need to have a definition of Resonance that is applicable in QM. You seem to be describing Entanglement...

Superminds are emergent. You can see the nascent supermind in dogs, mice, apes and other social vertebrates. They don't use language the way we do, they use movement, vocalizations and context, which are far less efficient.

Minor error: Ramanujan didn't get his mathematical ideas from Shiva. He claimed to have gotten them from Namagiri, a variant of Lakshmi, the Consort of Narasimha. Major error: he claims that getting to the Essence of Consciousness is a losing battle. It certainly is for him demonstrably evidenced by his rambling, fragmented discourse. Experiencing the Essence of Consciousness can be done easily when one transcends the mind. Access "Mahamritunjaya mantra - Sacred Sounds Choir" and listen to it for 5 min per day for at least 2 weeks. Tap into Pure Consciousness Itself.

Talking about America being more conscious than Russia; I can appreciate what you are saying and I will try to think more like that however is it not so that Americans Australia’s Britain’s freedom is the result of military dominance not a superior ideology except in the sense or deception claiming to be democratic. Why is the financial sector 25% of global markets because governments work for corporations who set the rules. And fund their own secrecy through intelligence agencies by public money. So what’s wrong with that 😂
