Official PlateUp! Advanced Guide!

Ойындар

PlateUp! combines chaotic kitchen and restaurant management with strategic planning and development to create a delightful roguelite dish unlike any other.
Up to four players build and run a restaurant from scratch, choosing dishes, buying and placing appliances - some of which can be daisy-chained together to create ambitious automatic kitchens - cooking food and serving customers.
Players have free rein to design their restaurant which will expand and develop between shifts - with additional content and challenges unlocked through progression.
Can you cook, serve and manage your way through 15 hectic days in your restaurant and unlock a brand-new franchise?
* Classic co-op cooking action, with a wide selection of mains, sides, sauces, toppings, desserts, and starters.
*Choose your equipment, lay out your kitchen, curate your menu and plate up your dishes.
*From bubbling soups to sublime salads, tender steaks to hearty pies, there's something for everyone.
*Look after front-of-house: seating customers, delivering orders, and managing patience.
*Equip your restaurant to handle the most fickle of customers and deliver them what they need, right when they need it.
*Co-operate with your team like a well-olive-oiled machine or build a name for yourself going it alone.
*Exceed your goals and take your franchise to greater heights at a new location, bringing with you new unlocks and upgrade.
*Upgrade and rearrange your restaurant to your personal taste: when the restaurant closes for the day, the planning begins!
*Decide what new equipment to purchase, and place it wherever you want.
*Want to go high-tech? Install the turbo-ovens, crank up the conveyors, and make way for the robo-kitchen of the future.
*Fancy something a little more... fancy? Curate your art collection, fix up that wallpaper, enlist a friend as a maître d' and get ready to provide the culinary experience of a lifetime.
*Exceed your goals and start over at your next location, bringing with you new unlocks and upgrades.
*Tailor your brand towards gourmet dining, or fine-tune your fast food franchise.
*Every restaurant is procedurally-generated with its own climate, customers and conditions.
*Return to your franchise HQ to view your achievements, customise your characters and upgrade your kit, ready for your next adventure!

    around 19:00 is there a reason behind why your soaking sink array prioritizes dirty plates going to the middle sink first? I encountered a similar quirk in one of my own runs, and couldn't quite figure out how the game would decide the middle should be filled first..

    Wow, this was such a helpful video! Thank you for taking the time to make it. I have a suggestion for future videos - could you consider using a script when explaining complex concepts? It can help with the clarity and precision of your phraseology, which is especially important for educational content. I hope you don't mind me offering this as constructive feedback - I really appreciate your videos and the effort you put into them, but in the past I've clicked away because of confusing explanations. Keep up the amazing work!

    wait?! there is an option to sandbox? (it seems like it with how you have items before the first day) can you explain how to do so? I wanted to test some automation ideas but farming it all is gonna take forever!

    Realistically, how far do you think most solo players can get without automation? I think i got to day 13 where I couldn't possibly do it all by myself and I was struggling to get much automation blueprints along the way. Would you recommend saving most of your coins and putting them towards desks in the early game over other blueprints? Got about 13 hrs in the game so far so still learning. thanks!

    It all depends on the goal of the run. For me, who has played for a year, I can franchise with no automation. But if you like automation go that route. I typically try to get a BP desk and then modify my plan based on the blueprints that come. You have to be open to change your plan to accommodate the appliances you get.

    @13:50 how does the regular grabber know to let the pie cook, instead of grabbing the raw meat pie? I would expect a smart grabber to be required here, but that's not the case.

  • @TheOntarioGardener

    @TheOntarioGardener

    Grabbers will only grab after an action before it finished. So in the case of a hob, as long as you are not combining things onto it, it will wait to grab until it cooks.

  • @Pojambles
    @Pojambles Жыл бұрын

    During the herd mentality part with the burgers, how come the (not smart) grabbers on the soaking sinks don't grab the dirty dishes? And in the pie how come the (not smart) grabbers wait for the mixer to make a pie crust? was this in a new update? A grabber just grabs whatever right away unless it's a smart one whenever I've played.

  • @TheOntarioGardener

    @TheOntarioGardener

    A normal grabber will always wait for an immediate action, like a soaking sink or a mixer making a crust, before grabbing.

    If you have more than 5 Blueprint desks, you will get an equivalent amount of Blueprints each day. If you have certain franchise cards you can get more than 5 without Blueprint desks.

    The corner and smart grabbers upgrade from the grabber which upgrades from the conveyour. So it is a muti process to get them through research.

    @@TheOntarioGardener I've only just started playing the game three days ago. With your tutorials it has helped me understand the game. I am still struggling to get to the automation stage since it takes a bit of luck to get the copy table (unless I am missing something important) by the time I get it I am already in blink of losing 😂.
