Boichi’s art style is just so distinct that I can’t help but see these as Dr. Stone characters cosplaying the One Piece characters lol

It's an shorten adaptation of the Ace novels. It works as a summary of the two books and add some iconic scenes and some quick panels of stuff that wasn't in the novel such as the previous owner of the Giraffe fruit

That's a little inaccurate because there are two mangakas for Dr. Stone (Like Death Note for example). Boichi is only the illustrator. The writer is Riichiro Inagaki. They're both on the cover of each volume lol. Before people reply to this, ur in no way wrong, but leaving out the writer or not specifying is giving lazy people misinformation that they'll just run with

0:40 This scene with Boichi's art makes me wanna laugh instead of making me sad I was reading Sun-Ken Rock back in early 2010s before he started Origin and Dr. Stone. SKR has amazingly detailed realistic art, which for Oda's characters seems outta place and funny at the same time. I like the way Boichi draws muscles, like Aces abs, then you see his face which has a child like quality, that's the best way i can put it. but the contrast between the detailed abs vs the goofy facial features is hilarious. Like his Nami vs Kalifa was also hot and funny at the same time.

Finally an actual English release! It’s great! If only the double-page cover wasn’t such a massive spoiler 😂!

Boichi is a phenomenal artist

I just got it an hour ago. I was so excited and I finally have it. I can’t wait to read it and I can’t wait to add it to my manga and anime collection. I can’t wait for the next one.

I don't think it has anything to do with actual manga, but we will def have more ace references in the future he always have moments since post time skip, almost in every major arc. Bb will definitely mention/talk of him + probably more flashbacks

This is a helluva stretch for a theory but you realize all these different animations studios making a remake of one piece what if the one piece is a Manga Book Remember "Laugh Tale" why would they call and island "Laugh Tale" if there was no book
