Feel like the fact that they say the other ruler will be born in a sea far from there, clearly referencing Luffy, proves he's joyboy from birth and not just because of the fruit. He had to be the one capable of awakening the fruit.

@@parthapritom9626 Nah they say their ruler will be born referring to Shirahoshi. After that they say another will be born in a distant sea which is referring to Luffy. They also say that the two rulers will meet, which did happen when Luffy and Shirahoshi met.

DF has a willpower of their own. gumu gumu fruit escaped world government for 800 years until shanks stole it and eventually luffy ate it. yes luffy was joyboy from the start and that's why the gumu gumu chose him

Many people disliked that scene because they thought it meant that Luffy was chosen by 'fate', I think that the sea kings simply sensed or saw something of the future, knowing that luffy is the one who is the same by joyboy

he didn't give hito2 no mi to luffy. luffy accidentally eat it. i think shank is trying to give it to ace, but since luffy eat it first he bet on it.
