That was a quick recovery once you got there and got set up. Considering the 80 mile round trip drive and 3 or 4 people and two trucks, I'm just betting that while this recovery was fast, it wasn't cheap.

When I saw the little vehicles you took and the position the truck was in, I had visions of you having to daisy chain the little ones to use a winch built onto one of them because normally you would use a wrecker truck which obviously you could not get along that narrow track. When you were talking about a tree, I thought you were planning a 'Holmes' Tree redirect - never thought of a mobile winch. You did a brilliant job in a difficult situation well done all of you.

I've been up Cottonwood Creek Rd, but not quite that far. I've been to the intersection with Bald Mountain and Forest Road 202. I turned around because I was hitting snow at the time. Figured I'd come back later and explore it, haven't gotten back to it yet. If I get stuck I'll know who to call.

A bit puzzled you hauled the winch up the hill to the tree, rather than using a snatch block at the tree, and keep the heavy winch at the UTV.
