Thank you for sharing your Thanksgiving adventure. It is nice seeing a younger couple starting out with a family. Everything will come in time as your family grows. Just found your channel & really enjoying it. Thank you for the content. Could you maybe talk a bit about safety precautions. You mentioned there had just been a bear attack nearby & you cooked food outdoors. I'm assuming you took precautions into account but it would be great to have that confirmation.

We had bear spray and other means, as well as a dog to alert us. We also were very aware of our surroundings. Bears smell like wet dog. We also disposed of all food.

There always seems to be at least one bear attack at the beginning of hibernation. Usually a bear who hasn't had their fill for the long sleep.

We are so glad you took us along on this Holiday trip. Was this to test a cabin for possible future living? Does it bother you it’s only the 3 of you for holidays? We’re in the same boat. That is something we would do but Larry uses a CPAP and needs cell phone service in case we have an emergency. He has health issues. Doing the same for Christmas? Take care gang.

Wow! Beautiful! Yummy food too! Was there a lake in front of the cabin that was frozen over? Couldn't tell if that was supposed to be a lake there or if it was just pasture. Hard to tell with the snow over it. But love love love the blanket of white snow there! Ok, well I just heard you say it was a lake at the very end. Guess I shoulda waited just a lil longer before writing that. lol!

Yes it would but it’s not their cabin they only rented it for a couple of nights anyone can rent it from parks services or forest service whoever owns it. 😊

Thanks for watching 😊! I sit in the back to take care of and keep our toddler company on long trips. He's in his car seat when the vehicle is moving. In this video, we were parked, sitting and waiting and just talking and and also while Dad was taking supplies to cabin. Mom wears a seat belt when car is moving.
