Hello from Wisconsin. As far as winters go here now, I live on Lake Michigan just north of Milwaukee. Our winters are hardly no snow or cold anymore. We’ve had one storm and one week of freezing cold and that’s it. The snow is almost gone and it’s 40 degrees here. Winter used to be bad here but not anymore because of climate change. You look much more cold and snowy up there. Love your videos, keep them coming🙂

Hi guys! I’m a little late watching. I was waiting for you to do a Q&A video. You answered a lot questions I had. But some I still have. When referring to a past video, could you put the link up? AK is on our bucket list. I can ask why you moved there and you both can ask me why we moved to FL from NY? I had an accident 9 years ago and literally had to have my spine restructured with rods. I managed in NY with the winters but the frigid cold kept me inside. My wife retired in 2020, our son graduated HS also. The house we moved to was part of a family estate that was going to be sold so we decided to take it. Sold NY house for a nice profit. This house was given to us. Being on fixed income this is beneficial. Anyway, I’m sure you’re curious about Florida. Good points and some bad. Gotten expensive last few years. Anyway, I’ll stop for now. Prayers for you all and the baby.

Hi I read your comment and been following this sweet family almost since they started putting videos up. Reason why I’m commenting back we have lived in Florida our whole life and it used to be the retirement state. We never in our dreams would’ve have thought things here would get so horrible to live here in our Golden Years. We’ve been married almost 51yrs and sadly we have no choice but to move outta of here. Middle Class and Retirees living on SS only are being chased out so sadly we have to leave and it’s not going to get any better. I was a homemaker and raised our children did a couple little side jobs but nothing to help us with our retirement. My husband was the bread winner. It’s sad he retired and tried to live on SS only and he’s 73 and has had to go back to work part time. I believe you might be ok if you inherited a home here and sold your NY home for a nice profit but honestly your money won’t last here. I don’t mean to be rude but this is what’s happened to Florida people from NY, California etc sold thier homes and made a ton of money and moved here so the prices of homes have gotten outrageous plus all the taxes and home insurance has risen. We bought 5 houses here and the most we ever paid was $111,000 and all our homes were brand new. Now you see starting at $450,000-$600,000 and by the time you close on it you’re paying $700,000-$800,000 and more depending on where you live. We’re on the West Coast and the East Coast is worse so we found a couple places for retired living on SS only and middle to low class and we’re headed out in March to look. They’re just like Florida used to be and no high taxes. Just thought I’d let you know it’s bad here and going to get worse.💜

Here in Ontario Canada it is like $1600 for a very small 1 bedroom apartment with no dishwasher, no a/c, no control of heat in your apartment, 1 elevator that keeps breaking down, and the owner only fixes things when they are so broke and should be thrown out but he bandaids it back together and keeps using the broken thing for a little while longer.......
