Of Spiders and Crickets
Some information about spiders and crickets - or the Funnel Web spider and one particular cricket, at least.
If you hate insects of all kinds, this may change your mind about crickets, at least. I, for one, love them for their chirping alone.

I may be guilty of being over protective regarding spiders, especially the Funnel Web! Huntsmen spiders are definitely our mates. Best wishes to you, Brian.

Brad Z Thanks for the comment! We should all be protective of them but I doubt that's going to happen in my lifetime. Contrary to common 'belief', huntsmen can bite, though I don't think it is dangerous to humans.
Quite nice videos! My son just got home from NSW and your videos have been a joy to watch. Thank you for sharing.
