This is what was left of our local Music Club Choir (+ one interloper!) just over 4 years ago. Unfortunately, the choir is now defunct.
We were entertaining the residents of our local nursing home on a Sunday afternoon near St. Patrick's Day. As you can hear, we were singing a lovely Irish song, I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen - one of my favourite Irish songs. Our accompanist was a local music teacher and organiser of the Music Club.
It was 'glossed over' by our lady announcer at the beginning but there was a double booking on the day, so we sang 3 or 4 songs then had a rest, during which time the gentleman who walked in sang a few songs. He had his little set-up in the opposite corner of the room. It turned out okay in the end, I think.
