Yeah it’s more related to hardcore then metal however these guys have always been influenced by metal as well as hardcore. The structure of this song in particular is pretty damn proficient.

yeah, unfortunately he lost his touch as the years went by. Austin in 2014 was nowhere near as good as he was during the run of this album. This was his peak, and dear fucking god was it a tall one.

This hits different lately.

This chorus gets stuck in my head all the time. It's so damn catchy.

At first I didn't like this song and now I'm actually seeking out this song to listen to. Magic. I love it so much now.

+J Nicolosi it's pretty much confirmed, the song AC-130 they wrote obviously has Austin's initials in it, and says the line "you're better off dead" several times and in this song austin says "you know that I'm not better off dead." Kinda links in a bit too well to be coincidental. But I think everything is chill with the members of AA now, at least it is with Caleb

+Jdub Knowlton Since Austin used to be in AA but got kicked out beacuse they difered in the way of life they wanted to communicate to the audience, they argued a lot and ended in bad terms, so most members of AA felt betrayed by Austin and Austin probably felt abandoned and angry... So seems that something happened "behind the scenes" between them so they wrote AC-130, Austin in response wrote Ohioisonfire:)

You scream from the diaphragm so you don't do this. There's proper screaming technique and the cheap ways that might sound good but fuck you up. Multiple bands have lost vocalists due to their improper technique.

This will always be my favorite Of Mice and Men song. Second and Sebring is a close 2nd. i know it's 2 of their biggest hits but damn they're some bangers. I still Dig newer OMAM but this and Self titled will never be topped.
