Oersted's experiment (& magnetic field due to current)
Let's explore Oersted's experiment that helped us discover the connection between electricity and magnetism. We will explore the properties of the magnetic field due to current carrying wire.

Why are you so great?
"What's the bid deal about this? So What?" Faraday: "One day you will tax it."
THAT WAS SOO GOOD

Very good explanation sir 🎉
Thank you so much for such a well explained video, sir. I really understood the concept perfectly.
you're awesome
Well explained
Got this video like from an online class. Thanks for making it actually not boring lol
This is the best educational channel
Why are you legend.
good explanation. Keep it up guys . you helped me discover depth about this chapter . those video explanation of experiments were awesome .

thankyousomuch sir!
Thank you!!
It's just the best Thanks!!!
Your work is always great!
Hans Christian Ørsted was a Danish physicist & chemist
Great lecture
Ohhhh that’s why the solar system is round 😏
Thank you it helped me a lot
👍👍👍👍

Hello!! I just wanted to say that the Chemistry videos for class 10th are already available on their channel in the "Playlist" section.
😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤩
Khan academy is indeed the best 👍
I can't understand one thing. If we set a charge in ciruclar motion it creates a magnetic dipole and behave like a magnet It is also how magnet work at subatomic level but in this concept discussed in the video charges are set in linear motion and no magnetic pole is obtained it this supposed to be behave like a magnet
esay to understand thank so much
Oested was acutally danish not dutch :p

Really?
Super
But how does drawing field lines help us determine where the field is wrong and where it isn't ? We can draw the lines close everywhere or far apart at all points, depends on the point we take in the field? Kindly solve my query sir.

It is not affected by how we draw. The farther from the magnet, the weaker the field gets.
Mahesh Sir if we increase current then deflection increases then will it affect direction of magnetic field????
@Kalpit147

The direction is same whatever you do.

Direction won't change...but the strengts of the field will increase
😭😭😭😭
Very nice explanation
Well, it said that the video is unable to be loaded. Try again later. But I opened it now and was able to do so. Thanks anyway
Movement of turbine??
It's too underrated. N ppl like me don't understand WHY??????

Hello, Not able to play this video in the app. Please help

Could you elaborate more on the problem please? I just checked and I could play it in both the desktop and mobile app.
why it creates a magnetic field ? The answer lies in realtivity ... Why relativity and why turbulence...🙄
