Moving coil galvanometer working | Moving charges & magnetism | Physics | Khan Academy
A moving coil galvanometer works on the principle that a current-carrying coil placed in a magnetic field, experiences a torque. The coil springs along with the radial field ensure the deflection to be proportional to the strength of the current.

If engineering was taught like this we would have got engineers rather than graduates....Amazing explanation of understanding the problem and finding the solution...Keep going...❤️❤️
Happy Teachers day to you @Mahesh Shehnoy sir. You are the best teacher for me. Keep educating entertaining us with physics and your awesome soothing voice.

I only just watch this with rough knowledge about magnetic fields but damn, i could watch you a day and become an engineer tomorrow
Most underrated channel in existence
Firstly at 2:00 min I am able to understand what I was actually searching...... Secondly calm voice....... Thirdly much patience.......... Fourthly I am able to NEET/JEE pyqs without taking any help from Edtech channels....... Fifthly Very very Thankful to you ❤

U make me literally cry by your explanations 🥺. ❤❤ U make the critical topics a piece of cake !❤ Lots of respect sir 🙏🏻
I would be highly grateful and would love it if you could arrange the videos chapterwise in sequence of the topics.(especially class 12 physics)🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Cause I find it really hard to find topics on this channel 😔🙏🏻🙏🏻 Btw I love ur channel ❤❤. Your explanation is superb. Never seen a teacher like u ❤
I can't describe how much greatful I'm to you ,❤Love you sir..
Wow! I was confused about why the field had to be radial. Got it cleared. Amazing presentation. Thank you.
I srsly don't know y many ppl don't watch these kind of things... This is so well understood with lot of 3D effect 👏🏻👌🏻❤
Clear as crystal! This video is spot on! I understood every minute detail, and sir you gave me an added interest in physics!!!
This video cleared all my concepts and helped me completely understand he working and modifications made to a Galvanometer. A very big hearted Thank You!
The high education material is explained as if it were child's play. That's the talent of yours, sir Mahesh Shenoy
Others create lectures while Sir you create master pieces !
Absolutely mesmerized. Thank you so very much for these lectures. No other source provided as much clarity as this.
THAT'S AN AMAZING EXPLANATION!!! YOU'RE BORN TO TEACH KEEP GOINGG
My god! Breaking such a twisting concept into easy to understand chunks. You guys are awesome!
very best no words to explain physics is now more interested to me after having teachers like you
Understood this finally! You made it so easy and simple thanks a lot sir🙏🙏💯
Brilliantly explained radial field!! Kudos sir
Just flawless explanation with student frndly approach..
how much i learned about galvanometer in first 4 min of this video i didnt understood that much even in 40 min in my school..why can't all the teachers be like you..
Amazing video, explained the concepts really well. Thank you.
Fabulous Mr.Mahesh. No one on earth explained the galvanometer so precisely and technically. Poor galvanometer got special respect because of this video or otherwise who cares for it❤
phew! finally understood the working of a moving coil galvanometer. Thank you so much for the awesome explanation!
@yashmal1k
2 жыл бұрын
I couldn't... The magnetic field isn't even going through the coil...
@__jyots__
2 жыл бұрын
@@yashmal1k No... That's not how it works... We pass currently through the coil and hence the coil starts acting as a magnet... And this coil is placed in between two poles of a different magnet... So it turns (since unlike poles attract)...
Perfect explanation. Thanks
BEAUTIFULLY EXPLAINED AS A STUDENT CANT THANK U ENOUGH

Omg... I can't get enough of intuition.. wow.. mind blowing 🥳explanation..
Thank u so much. Finally understood the concept restoring torque of the spring and why radial field is necessary. Best video on galvanometer on youtube.

I saw many but this is last one and finally i understanding
amazing!!!
Much appreciated.. but didn't get the last part.. you've make the other field lines invisible except the one acting in parallel to the coil.. But what about the other field lines, aren't those making an angle with the coil when it turns? If not, why and how?
Very nice explanation 👍👍
