Heard this the first time while I was cleaning out some old papers, throwing most of them away, and I flipped the last one over and it was a picture of my childhood dog (the best ever) and it made me so happy/sad/bittersweet. This song combined with that picture and the "memories" had me bawling on the living room floor but at the end I was just thanking our dog, Nestle, for choosing our family to be adopted by! OMG I'm tearing up again but just wanted to share my experience with this wonderful song!!

I was so lucky to see then at still dream in 2014 :)

I've skydived to this in the sunset.. plane was on the climb up to 15000 feet and the pilot stuck it on the speakers... we get to 15k just as that midway breakdown hits.. door opens and were all greeted by a rage of orange and purple sunlight bathing all of us.. we all looked at each other and smiled.. I was last to get out and I pulled my parachute at 14000 feet and glided down slowly. I'll never forget that moment climbing out onto the door edge of the plane and looking out across the coast ❤

It's been nearly 3 years since this song came out. I found ODESZA about 2 years ago. So much has happened to me since then. I traveled to the other side of the world, found a piece of myself I never knew even existed there, broke my first bone in the most badass way possible by my standards, was a child for one last day, found out who my TRUE friends were, graduated High school, found a wonderful girl, discovered my purpose on this earth, started college. Wow. Those are the memories that call to me. All my life I've been scared of dying. I've been scared that Ill just be another spec of dust in the massive place we call the Cosmos. I kept asking myself "what the hell was the point". I've come to find that the only purpose we have is what WE as individules and human beings make of it. The point of it all from what I've found is not a cut clean simple answer like in some math equation. We are all different, we have to find our own answers. My purpose is a goal. My goal is to live as best as I can so that I can have a positive impact on this world and to have as many experiences as possible so that WHEN I am on my death bed, I can look back towards the memories that call to me, and feel content that my time has come. Keep up the work ODESZA, and come by Salem, Oregon sometime so we can enjoy life and music together. What kind of memories call out to you world?

I accidentally downloaded this song a while ago when searching for another, while also not knowing the artist. I didn't really care for it at all, but overtime I started to really enjoy the way it made me feel. I went to electric forest this year, went to ODESZA's set, and this song came on. That moment was probably one of the best moments of my life. Thank you ODESZA for making such great songs.
