Odelfi striplamp pro vs other headlamps comparison and review

The Odelfi striplamp pro is my favorite headlamp for working on cars! It's lightweight, comfortable, and provides smooth, even light.
The Coast XPH30R has better battery life and a good beam pattern, but it's heavy, and sticks out a lot.
The Petzl Pixa 3 uses outdated technology with AA batteries, a dim LED, and poor battery life. It's the most durable light but it fails my tests because it's too heavy and the beam pattern is bad.

Thanks Paul. You convinced me to purchase the Odelfi Strip Lamp. I've used various recharageable headlamps while working on my back under my car and truck and welding projects. It will be interesting to see how it improves vision while welding. Thank again, Matt

Hey Paul, thanks for your videos. Since you got that amazing light, maybe you could do the video for replacing the supports from the rear diferential on the RAV4. I really want to know about it, because the supports of mine I think are wasted. Thanks a lot again

These lights work pretty well but the battery life is bad - just 2 hours. It's still worth it because they're more comfortable than all other lights, but you have to get 2, to be able recharge one while you're using the other.

This is great. I have the same light and gifted one to my father who works under cars at Jiffy Lube. One issue i’ve encountered is wearing black gloves will make the sensor have a hard time reading your hand. But this can be solved by tapping the sensor lightly vs swiping past it. Sometimes if ur head passes an object while the sensor mode is on then it can turn on/off but a minor issue to deal with vs the ease of use it provides

I don't use the sensor feature and just leave the light on the whole time I'm working. I've noticed the battery life is not good - just 2 hours. The lights are cheap enough that you can buy 2 and have one ready to go while you recharge the other one. These lights are far more comfortable than any others out there, so the compromise is worth it.

Hey Paul! Do you have an Amazon link for your channel? I’ve been looking to buy an Odelfi and wanted to support the channel. 2 birds, 1 stone

Thanks! If you use the link in the video description and buy the light from Odelfi, I get a sales commission and it's better than getting it from Amazon.

I have the strip light. It gets pretty warm on the forehead. Curious if you experienced the same thing?

I knew the heavier lights don't stay on very well, but getting bloody was unexpected.
