While this game is incredibly fun, we had tons of issues in the first go-around before it was patched. We had multiple game breaking glitches where we couldn't progress until it was patched. It was unfortunate but we decided to put the game on the back burner for a while, which why we were late on this one. But all in all, the game is well worth the playthrough, ESPECIALLY if you have PS Plus. There's not much story that happens through the gameplay sections, so we didn't include too much. The cutscenes look incredible!

i wann say a big unsung hero is that one mudokon dude who got shot. he went on a hwile.

i like the detail that the only glukkon who actually thinks about the conspiracy theory is the one who works in the mines, so theres a chance hes actually a bit superstitious and believes some of it, while the other 2 dont even bother thinking about it

Mourger definitely felt the most practically minded of the Glukkons, compared to Aslik who didn’t really care and was fully content to believe what the news says, and the Brewmaster who’s ego is so big he refuses to believe its his invention failing that led to this issue. Given the grim job he has, Mourger probably doesn’t have a high opening of the prissier, image obsessed Glukkons, thus is more willing to question things.

She really picked this man up and carried him like he was lightweight. 😂😂😂😂

Fun fact: Despite looking like a weird cross between primates and reptiles, the mudokons are actually described as being an avian species. Knowing this, their strength, speed, and agility make sense as bird bones are known for being strong and light-weight.

The entire series apparently takes place over the course of just a few days

But they never do a follow up about the mudokon queen and why she left them, why she closed abes mouth and all that. Really hope they make another installment or at least expand more on it in writing

I enjoyed playing Abes Odyssey when I was a kid especially since my dad introduced me to the game. So don't you dare think I got nothing to lose especially what me and ABE have to deal with

Anyone noticed Toby's voice changes twice in the opening, maybe 3 if u count the slow motion bit. But then he has a different speaking voice in game

I'm here because my screen went black right after beating the last level and I missed the last cutscene and lost all badges for the level.

Man, this is so amazing, i kinda feel a little bad for not beeing able to experience the story by playing it

Honestly speaking: one of the Best games i have played this year. But boy, the bugs (Serious Game Crashing Bugs) really kicks the goodness of the overall experience.. :( I hope it does well enough to spawn a sequel....just with ZERO BUGS.

If they’re gonna reboot the original quintilogy, a more 3D open world game is gonna be next. With everyone’s favorite highly endangered Gabbit Munch, if they follow it so to speak.

Just mannaged to get a ps5 this month and i decided to play this since iv had it on plus for about a year now. i was really exited for it cus i love the old games and where i did enjoy it i cant help but think i enjoyed the story and cutsceans more than the game itself. like honestly i think id rather the next thing they do with this series be a tv series rather than a game because where the game has alot of good stuff going for it when playing it i found myself rushing just to get to the next story big cus that to me was more interesting than the puzzles and awful follower ai. Again dont get me wrong i love this series but deffently think its better as a story than as a game

My thoughts exactly. Music, atmosphere, worldbuilding, story, graphics and animation were absolutely on point. Seeing Slig Barracks again after some 20-25 years in such great detail was absolutely astounding. The gameplay was the biggest issue I had with Soulstorm. I was not a fan of the crafting element, or the maneuverability of Abe. Imo, if they make another game, I hope they mix the best of both worlds, which is the possitives from Soulstorm, and the gameplay from Exoddus, or - like you said - they make a movie or a TV series. All of this said, this is Lanning's baby, and I 100% respect that this is a game he's been wanting to make for the longest time, and I completely understand why people like Soulstorm's gameplay, it's just not for me.

Man, what an amazing game. Though, i wonder, is this game retconning the original sequel? It’s still about the soulstorm brew, but isn’t about liberating necrum from the brewery mining their burial ground to collect bones for the brew. I guess there is a passing comment about it in the game, so i guess they didn’t forget it happened. I don’t know, i’m a little confused.

From what I've heard, this was the story they originally wanted, but they couldn't execute it this way during the time of making Abe's Exoddus

People could use some clips of this so they can make a pretty cool game music video style of entertainment

I dont comment very often at youtube's channels that i follow with bells but this game and this channel put so much work in delivering new content and enjoyable to watch i highly hope you see the big comunitty fans that are following any new upload and prefer to sit back and relax knowing gamer's little playground will post* again in the soon future

In the beginning, Abe was a worker who did overtime and found out that the next big snack was going to be him & his kind, so he escaped and found out his destiny to save everyone from the glukkons and their endless greed. That's pretty much it there is tons of stuff how the mudocin do some occult mysticism/alchemy, too, the creator of the whole series hints at it throught the series & based it on stuff he found out about this kind of thing during his time around the "elites" & various other sources. It's pretty interesting tbh, should look into it.

I’ve always wanted to play this game!

Y'know, there's something I don't get. If burning down a factory with 300 Mudokons is considered an atrocity by the industrial society, how was Molluck actually planning to get away with his New N' Tasty scheme? He was gonna kill them all anyway; plus, he was gonna market the product as "Mudokon Pops". I get that the Magog Cartel is obviously using Molluck as a fall guy to make the rest of them look good and that they don't actually care about humane treatment of the Mudokons; but did they just now decide to make it seem like they don't approve in response to the destruction of Rupture Farms, or did they maintain this facade of humane Mudokon treatment from the beginning? I mean, it's apparent that the Cartel has to deal with public relations in this game; but Molluck seems like he was just gonna come out and say "Hey! Ya want some people meat on a stick? I made it from the Muds that work for us.". How WAS he gonna get away with it?!

The Magog Cartel clearly has no problem with mistreating their laborers; but they seem to have a public that they lie to in order to maintain a good image. What I don't get was how Mullock intended to make his entire Mudokon workforce into meat products without ruining his personal image.

This is a Abe's Exodus reimagined. Both this and Abe's exodus happen at the same time, it's just a split timeline based on the story the devs wanted to tell. I imagine the third game will be Munch's Odyssey reimagined.

Rupture farms exploded so all film there was lost. All these other places are being raided within a couple hours each and the common lines were shutdown on the z track, so they can't even tell each other about what's going on.
