This is by far one of my favorite underappreciated games I’ve ever played. Hardly anyone I talk to about it knows it exists but it’s such a really good game! I wish we got more credit.

Yeah it's hard I think it's because Sucker Punch wanted more attention and than when they got for first light they really didn't care so it's hard for people to approach them. I think it was ghost of Tsushima began production when this game was just being sold

God this game is so damn good. I've always been obsessed with superpowered stories, and this beat all my expectations. Augustine was such a good villain-you know they're a good villain when you understand where they're coming from and see why they're almost right in a way. Such a phenomenal story

I would LOVE to get a second game with Delsin, hell even an animated series would be good

I loved this game so much i got both karma endings,completed paper trails,took almost all billboards and completed it 78% i wanted to complete it 100% but before i could my dad sold my PS4 Pro so i could not play it. That was a year ago now i got over my depression for the game but i do still miss it. Watching this gives me giant nostalgia

I just noticed, at 34:30 you can see that the sign on the bridge says 'Mercer St.', most likely a reference to Alex Mercer in Prototype, a game which originally battled with the first inFAMOUS game in popularity

This game changed my life. Best series ever made.

I like Delsin’s Jacket.

Delsin Personality carried out the whole game for me, he such a charmer and well written with great dialogues and humor

Love this game so much. My only regret is not playing the other infamous games first before second son, I hope they continue the next infamous game. 😃

2:59:56 Damn things really went to shit ever since Cole died. I mean to see people just targeting the conduits? Fuck. Most heartbreaking scene in the game. If Cole were alive he'd be fighting for order. Sucks that this had to happen in the game.

It depends on how you play it. If Delsin has good karma, then it’s likely that’s he’s just legitimately frustrated, since it’s clear he thinks that him being different than the others will have him be accepted and he doesn’t fully understand the damage other conduits have done. He just told he was going to let them walk, not kill them, especially when they are in the way of him saving his tribe. It’s just something he said in the heat of his emotions as he clearly cares about people, as the good karma scene with Betty suggests that he’s feeling legitimate guilt over what happened, even though it wasn’t his fault. Evil Delsin clearly doesn’t care and it seems that scene is a good starting point for what he becomes. He only relents because of Reggie and very little else, since when he isn’t around, he has no problems slaughtering people. He’s only trying to help the tribe because it’s uncomfortable that his selfishness killed them. So it is a scene that can be interpreted differently depending on player choice.

I mean it would be nice to continue the infamous story meet new characters or old characters and new powers.

I miss playing the Infamous franchise it was literary my very first T rated game that I've ever played. I played all 3 games and did both good and bad Karma routes for all of them along with getting both endings. I miss playing this game the ability of using powers and making decisions that had consequences made this game amazing to play, I wish I could play it again sometime in the future.

I wish this game brought another DLC about Hank and Eugene stories

There was one slated for Eugune before fetch there was even promo art but as time went on and than first light was released but idk about Hank I think it was becuase his fate is interchangeable

I remember this game when i was a bit younger, as being one of the first games i noticed of the newer consoles at the time, believe the ps4 in its early years, and how damn good this game looked. Frankly i dunno how it actually held up, as i never got a chance to actually play it, but man it looked good

I loved Infamous Second Son but I just like Cole better, infamous 1 and 2 will always hold a special place in my heart.

@@michaelcgrigori7823 The story of prototype was it was supposed to be a venom game cause the same team had made that one successful Incredible Hulk but they couldn’t get the rights to use venom so they improvised and Alex Mercer came to be

This made me love Seattle even more again

just played this again recently on the ps5 and the only complaint, besides the shortness of it, is the unskippable cutscenes. everything else was really fun to play for every power you got.

I just noticed that the last line for good ending is the same as the ending for inFamous 2 with Zeke saying the same. "I love you brother. And I am Sure going to miss you."

We all know Cole isn't dead, so when this came out, I was disappointed that Cole wasn't the protagonist.

I wish this game had gotten a sequel...or at the very least a dope multiplayer mode where u'd get to play as ur own customizable conduit type character. A PvE multiplayer co-op mode would also fit in perfectly with the in-universe lore as the story could go something like this: after Delsin, Fetch, and Eugene freed every conduit the DUP had in custody at Curdan Cay, a new commander stepped up to filled the concrete shoes left by Augustine. In response, your (the player) character and their friends team up to fight back against the DUP's remaining presence in Seattle in a string of co-op missions with its own mini-story. At the end of this story, Delsin, Fetch, and Eugene could show up to recruit you to their cause. At the start, you would create your own customizable character and pick one of the 4 main powers in the game - leveling up ur character, unlocking different abilities, and assigning different attributes and buffs to each ability (which would visually change the color of each power) on the way. A PvP mode could also coincide with this as u could do 3v3s, 4v4s, and 5v5s with the lore being something along the lines of this: despite your growing powers and willingness to fight the DUP, not every Conduit seems to agree with your ideologies and would rather fight for their own slice of control over the city.

I love this game and I made Delsin a hero.

We all want a sequel not dlcs but a sequel preferably a continuation of the evil ending (Also those graffiti parts would be nice to have again)

I don’t ever remember this game looking this great at all ever! PS PS does some amazing things to older games.

When the ps4 was first released this was my second game I got. Loved it.

A minor thing I like about InFamous that I don’t think many people comment on is how different the two main protagonists are. Sure, both Cole and Delsin are both decent people (when played as a hero anyway), but they have different attitudes to their abilities and their roles. Cole laments his role as a hero and wishes he never got his powers in the first place due to the circumstances in how he got them. He also hates how much pain being a Conduit has caused him. While he certainly lightened up in the sequel, that hatred was still there. Delsin, on the other hand, straight up enjoys having powers and using them. Like Cole, he also initially blames himself for the pain being a Conduit has caused him. Delsin, however, has the chance to change it. Just a minor detail that I really like.

I think Sucker Punch's plan now is to focus on Ghost of Tsushima and save Infamous for another day. I'm sad we're probably not gonna get another Infamous for a while but Ghost is filled with so much love like Infamous was that you really can't complain.

Ultimately this was a good game. The storyline was awesome and they had a good villain. She thought she was protecting them when all she was doing was making them serve fade worse than death taking away their freedom some say being alive is living. There’s a difference between living and not dying. Living is enjoying yourself what Augustine was doing is taking away that she was just making them suffer she wasn’t protecting anyone. She was just making them die on the inside and remain them alive their bodies their minds were slowly dying, but Delsan and his friends changed that when they set them free.

I like this story. About freedom, justice and whats right. SPOILERS In a nutshell you have to bros one is a neighbor delinquent, the other a police cop. Little D(elsin) turns himself into a human sponge of conduits power. After a while their akomish (including Betty) suffer injuries from Concrete Queen (Augustine). Little D wants some ownership and responsabilty, but Reg has some other ideas. They come to Seattle and "GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL" powers trucks. Along with the journey Little D, meets with three people all misjudged from augustine from all rights & freedoms: -Henry: A criminal who just wants the safety and security of her daugther. -Fetch (Abigail): A junkie, devoted to the loss of his brother, to kill any drug dealer up to their names. -Eugiene (Gameboy): A gamer, who represents those "nerds & geeks" who are just the shy guy/girl on life. Adding that Concrete Queen may not kill conduits, but she was non stoping killin' normal people (Betty & Reggie being a non-conduit). Making her the monster that Delsin saw back at the akomish. After the "GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL" journey, the main objective is to shut down the lies of the Concrete Queen and reveal the truth as well as freedom for the people, and anybody having a right whether being from people or conduit. THE OBJECTIVES/JOURNEY OF DELSIN: 1. Save Betty (normal)/Join Agustine (by keeping quiet and lay low as a conduit) 2. Go to Seattle and dispose DUP 3. Reedem Fetch (by silencing the drug dealers)/Corrupt Fetch (By killing everyone either conduit or not) 4. Reedem Eugiene (by hangin' out and be a guardian of conduits or people)/ Corrupting Eugiene (by hangin' out and showing "respect" to the conduits) 5. Sparing Hank (by leaving his daughter and him free)/Killing Hank (I no need to write this) 6. Freedom 4 All (by revealing truths of Augustine, and have peace between conduits and people)/Killing innocent people from both sides, and having a Curdun Cay as your own candy store.

Really enjoy the use of Neon in the game and how it is done. It's not overbearing by any means, just a cool addition.+And having the "Houseboats" be part of the game is cool too, as there are complete communities and "sub-divisions" of docks and Houseboats for homes all around Puget Sound in Seattle. It's one of the things rather unique to Seattle is the number of Houseboats as homes. It's in the thousands.

Am I the only one who think they should make a TV series of Infamous? It would very cool!

me to, sadly sucker punch isnt known to revisit games that they believe they've pushed to their limits, Sly Cooper is a prime example. though they could hand the rights over to another company, just hope its one that can make a good sequal

Great story, good graphics. Really liked the Akomish Indians being part of the game, and having the story set in Washington. Really liked the first Infamous game, and this second one has everything that made the first game so good, plus more. Enjoyed the amount of destruction and mayhem, who doesn't like that once in awhile. lol. There's not much left of Seattle by the end of the game.

Such a goated game. Great gameplay, and an awesome story. It's a shame more people don't talk about it.

I wish this game got sequel, where Delcin is a badass mature adult that creates a resistance or something, or fight various gangs or even other mutants.

Most of the way through this one; thanks as always GLP!! Thoughts so far - I like the characters, I like the new powers, and I like the story. But I don't feel particularly invested in any of the characters, like I did for Cole in 1 & 2. Not sure how to explain it but maybe what happened in those games felt more personal to the main character? I dunno. Oh and from the thumbnail, I now know who the First Light DLC is about! 🐧 Edit: Finished watching it. It was enjoyable and the ending was good. But Delsin for most of the game didn't have anything bad happen to him, and just got new cool powers. Awesome as a player but not very compelling as a character. Still, enjoyed it overall! 🐧

I had one of the inFamous games but I forgot which one Cool game though and hey PS All Stars had both Cole and Evil Cole as well as an inFamous stage to fight in Pretty sweet

IMO the good karma story is the only one that makes any sense. Why would Delsin even care about the tribe when he fucking sacrifices them. He even says "Thanks for taking one for the team" to Betty.

love Second son but my God you can deafly tell the graphic difference with the PS4 and the PS5 with this game

I don't like second son much, but I like small details. Delsin at the start, looking like "man i shouldn't have said that" after saying he gets nervous around pretty girls. and How in good, delsin says "I have a promise to keep", whereas in evil, he says "I have a promise to take care of".

I loved infamous second son and the previous infamous games, I wish Sucker Punch would do a sequel. Its been nearly 10 years since second son came out and its long over due for a sequel at this point?
