Awww I was 10-11 years old in 95 and remember all of this. For some reason during this covid 19 lockdown mess these commercials and clips from past times really comfort me. Funny back then or even up to 2010 who would’ve thought of those as “simpler times”? Perfect balance of technology, socialization and appropriate content. Now everything is in over drive and excessive 😞

Commercials were so much better then.
Really good upload. It's interesting to note that while advertisers in the 90s still used plenty of music in their television commercials, gone were the jingles that were so prevalent in the 60s through 80s.
90s and early 2000s commercials are the best. In 1995 i was five years old. Im from Europe so idk why im watching american commercials but i find them comforting (some might be shown in Europe tho...like the one about super strong tissues)
I needed this... I needed this nostalgia so much right now! Thank you
Omg, aren't they STILL running that Jet-Dry commercial today??
I was an 89’s kid and a 90’s teen. Simply the best!
This was my very first autumn, I was two months old. Why do I still remember so many of these?? I guess commercials get replayed for a while, or the same concepts are used over.
I was 33 years old when these aired, but still stuck in 6th grade... Man, this video is 73 minutes long, I usually can't focus for that long...we'll see. ;)

3:45 Rebecca DeMornay in that movie promo... I'll always (and only) remember her from "Risky Business", which came out about a dozen years earlier.
32:02 I guess they did have pharmaceutical ads back in the 90s... Just a drop in the bucket though, compared to the deluge we have nowadays.
Life was so good back then 😢...no wars no viruses no serious chaos ....would give anything to go back to this era.
One thing that I like about commercials from the nineties Is the frame rate effects and filters applied on the footage. The 1st commercial is a clear example of that.
OMG! I Used to Have That Fisher-Price Great Adventures Castle Play-Set When I was a Kid!
It's incredible 1. how non-repetitive these breaks are compared to now (where it's usually the same 6-8 commercials in every break) and 2. how much the nature of advertising has changed. At some point in the 2000s advertisers really cut down on the explanations and made advertising more about aesthetic and impression.
I was 11 at the time. I remember the majority of these commercials. ❤
Ok, I didn't know that was Debra Messing in the Clairol commercial. She skyrocketed shortly after that.
Omg my mom used to make those angel food cupcakes. They were good!
Awesome ads, thanks for the hard work, appreciate it, & satisfied.

42:30 Once Starbucks came along (sometime in the 90s I think), ads for instant coffees like Maxwell House rang a little hollow, at least to me. Starbucks (& probably some other brands, then or later) raised the bar for what constitutes "good" coffee. (10:50 No idea if Maxwell House's version of cappuccino was any good(?).)

By the early 90s it was a popular spot in certain states. But I remember my mom always having that big blue tin can of Maxwell house in the 80s and 90s. Lol. The smell of coffee brewing in the morning is such a nostalgic smell to me lol

1:07:20 "Mellow Gold", full of sappy, crappy 70s songs that I'd long since forgotten about. Gawd these commericals are all 25 years old and it definitely is starting to show. Some of them are corny and so many of them have this soft spoken, dream-like chillness to them that would put people to sleep today, they couldn't fly today where every commercial is incredibly fast paced and in your face.
