Thank you so much. What a lovely comment to wake up to this am. I really appreciate it and hope our shows continue to make those evening nights fun. Jon and I have such a good time doing them. Cinnamon and I were talking this am and I told her about the blue paint mix up last night and we had a good laugh. It is kind of sad to think that my first thought was they had labeled the paint tube incorrectly. She said if that ever happened with a tube of Golden paint she would think it was a cry for help from the folks that worked at their factory that were perhaps kidnapped....LOL as they never make mistakes. Of course in this case the mistake was mine...ahhh well nice someone noticed

I am so grateful that in this lesson, the palette is clearly shown and the names of he colors are readable. It really helps me to be able to see that as I try to paint along with the lesson. Thank you for a terrific piece!

Oh GingerI did not know you did portrait painting, as well. If you have video on realistic portrait and figure painting, I'm definately interested in purchasing those lessons. I'm doing like the 10th painting of stuff im not really interested in just because it's so fun to learn with you. No offense. But portrait is what I've been focused on for fifteen years. Truly my heart. I'm glad you mentioned that in this video of the bridge. In case you don't remember. You said, "trust me paint peoples features better than they really are."You are so right! My 13 year old daughter was crushed at my hard work. , "Mommy, do you really think my nose is that big?"I tried to explain, I wasn't a good artist and learning still. LolThanks for All your knowledge you share btw.

We do not have a portrait video at this time. But the skills you learn in still life and other areas are the ones you need for portraits. If you want to paint portraits, I suggest you switch to "GOLDEN OPENS" which are a perfect acrylic for that style of painting and use linen or portrait canvas. I would watch some oil painting videos on portraits. We do have several realistic pet portraits on our website however. www.gingercooklive.gallery

I like this particular one. I can not see colors like you do because I am color blind so I use seven colors, white, yellow, medium orange, medium red, dark blue, purple and black. In printing, there is "process" color vs "spot" color. Spot color is a pre-mixed color, and process color is color that is reproduced during printing by mixing the other printing colors (CMYK). I wonder if this offers any insight into the difference between process magenta and magenta. Maybe plain magenta is more pure, and process magenta is mixed color? This is just a guess based on what I know about what those words mean in printing.

LOL!! Jon should talk to the unicorn in the kitchen. Speaking from experience, the unicorn gives great advice. This is one thing I love about your channel. I love the knowledge, but really enjoy the humor and the way you and Jon let your personalities come out.
