    @@creatorcology Can I ask you this -- What do you think the most straightforward \ clever way to add a producer to an OBS stream is? (I'm doing comedy\entertainment live streams, and would like to have my producer be able to join remotely to do scene transitions, pull up things that may come up during the stream, etc.) Thanks so much in advance.

    Thank you for the kind words. Hope it has helped. I have not had the ability to test which encoding options work best on apple equipment yet so my best advice is just to try both and see what happens. You can always make an alt account and do a test stream or record to see how each option turns out.

    How do I stream on Rumble ? I can find zero videos on this. I have an ATEM mini pro. I know it has to be done using an RTMP. I don’t even know what that means. Any advise ?

    Okay. I looked it up and you CAN stream to Rumble via OBS but you might have to use the "custom" option in the stream section. I mentioned that option in the video above. You need to go into rumble and find your Stream URL and Stream Key. You may need to upload a short video or stream as a placeholder in order to see the URL and Stream Key. Once you have those then go into the OBS section I mentioned above and paste that information, as well as use your login details on the authorization below that section. Here is an article I found about it. www.google.com/amp/s/www.instructables.com/How-to-Livestream-to-Rumble-From-OBS-Studio/%3famp_page=true

    You just hit the apply button when you change something in the settings menu's. If you are referring to the overall OBS sources and stuff you set up then go up to collection and you can save them or make new collections. If you want to add a different service you can go to profile instead and make a new one.

    @@KozyKubGam3r Voices echo usually when there are two devices picking up the same voice are two different times. A typical feedback loop that people have is something like this... You talk into mic, it outputs through speakers, headphones, or monitor and then the mic picks that same voice up again. This can also happen when there are multiple digital things recording your voice at the same time. Do you have your webcam AND mic recording your voice at the same time? Maybe try unplugging your webcam and record a clip to see if you are still echoing. If you can, send me a twitter dm and you can send me some pictures of your obs screen to see if I can notice something.

    Help pls!!! Your videos are awesomely educational, thanks. I am having an issue with getting twitch to play on my obs screen. Chat box is up, webcam up, but when I select stream twitch from the drop down menu it just puts twitch pop up over my obs screen!!!

  • @creatorcology

    Thank you for the compliment. So you clicked Twitch for the platform to stream on in the stream tab of settings? The screen that came up, is it a sign in screen? Or did a long skinny panel come up that either says chat or activity feed? After you sign in to twitch (through OBS) you can go up to the "docks" tab on the top and see everything thats currently visible in obs. You can check or uncheck things which may help whatever it is disappear for now.

    Hello thank you for asking. What exactly are you concerned/confused about? I assume you have a laptop if you are referring to an integrated camera. Just use what you have or can get. You will need to adjust settings based on the tech you have in your computer. Expirementation is essential because every setup is different. Word of warning though. I had someone reach out to me with a computer that didnt even meet the bare minimum specs for using OBS... be realistic with what you have. If it doesnt work sometimes its just the tech, not the user.

  • @creatorcology

    @creatorcology

    There are solid webcams and mics for under $50 each. It may be worth it to invest in those if you can. Integrated stuff is usually really poor quality.

    How can you record Video file, Audio file and Microphone file separately??

  • @creatorcology

    @creatorcology

    Жыл бұрын

    What's the use case? Is there a need to have all three separated like that? It will be a little tough to explain but bear with me, the "easiest" way to separate tracks would be to click the cog wheel above "audio mixer" and scroll or open the window to see the checkboxes on the right side. Select only one checkbox for each source, like Mic gets check box 1, and audio file gets check box 2. The video can be separated in editing so dont worry about that one. Now go into settings > output > hit output mode then select advanced > go to recording tab > Change recording format to mp4, then click the boxes for the audio tracks you selected earlier in the mixer. This should get you a video file that has two separate audio tracks once you put in into editing software. Then you just individually render each one. Or you use 3 different instances of OBS, OR you use a separate program at the same time as OBS like Nvidia's capture program. Hope this helped. Really tough to explain in a comment.

    I use shotcut to edit, but it did not seem to work for me with this either. Obs only records 1 track. That track has both video and audio. Mic track does not even show up.

    @@eddielolivares3952 OBS can record more than one audio track. I have done it before and accidentally recorded three separate audio tracks for the same mic 😅. I use Davinci Resolve and when I drag the video file in, it populates with multiple audio tracks. I will add it to the list of tutorials I will be doing. Thanks for the note and idea.

    Why not just duplicate the scene, rename and update link?? Then you wouldn't have to do the resize and fit to screen every time as it would already be formatted properly.
