    "Cool cars kj" used a air intake from a h2 hummer for plumbing. Goes off to the right (passenger side), that's what I'm gonna do. Great video overall tho. Answered some hose questions I had for my 1990 silverado 5.3 swap Thank you!

    Great video Jason, but it looks like the fuel regulator seems kinda high, will the hood close with it being that high? 🤔

  • @MohawkMotors

    @MohawkMotors

    Yes there's actually lots of room between the hood and regulator, it's actually below the tops of the fenders when I lay a straight edge across them, and the hood is even higher than that.

    How did you wire up to the gauges and heat and a/c controls

  • @MohawkMotors

    In short, they're analog (variable resistance in the sensor) gauges, so just used the factory gauges and sensors and retained those wires in the harness.

    @@MohawkMotors Do they hang below the crossmember on the 2500's? I know on the 1500's they hang about an inch lower.

    It's probably going to vary depending on which motor mount adapters you use but in this truck the bottom of the oil pan was flush with the bottom of the engine crossmember.
