If you're running final fortune and co., Hive Mind is a good win condition to add in, Just end your turn before yours resolves or after your extra turn if you feel you need it.

I was just starting to build this deck. So I'm going to wait to look at your full list. If you do make a Commander Legends 2 or another Kaladesh set or something like that, will you please consider making a commander that utilizes Energy Counters? I'm a newer player and started playing with Eldraine, and was playing only EDH and also Pauper. When I started researching, I thought Energy was so cool and was pretty bummed to find out that there wasn't a single legendary creature that uses Energy so I couldn't have an Energy-themed EDH deck. And I was sure there would be one in Commander Legends, and then there wasn't :( Thank you ❤ love your videos!

I did a reaper king blink deck, cause gaddock teeg Staples are expensive as hell. Well, the deck is really funny. Can't wait to get a commander to lead a kithkin tribal, powerfull as reaper king.

Obeka is a REALLY cool design. I hope we see more like that :)

Not sure if you answered this already somewhere else but were there plans to include 5 ally colored partners in commander legends to match the number with the enemy colored ones? Also I think you knowing how and why Thrasios is problematic should prevent another one of these from happening and a lot of the partners have some pretty cool effects so it shouldn't be too much of an issue for you imo. Because you mentioned it. Now that there's a good reason for it: Any plans to reprint Final Fortune some day? The last reprint is over 20 years ago now...

I am also building obeka i just went theough the gatherer and bought every red card i thought was powerful. I already hadngone through for black green nlue and qhite, but until lately i havent been interested in muxh grixis or red combination. I am pretty sure commander legends just changed how i approach magic because of all the cool stuff that is now available

The Seraphic Greatsword has stats and an effect reminiscent of the "Sword of Insert_Awesomeness_here" cycles, but a monocolor representation. Was it ever considered to make them a cycle? Like a dragonmaker for red, a beastmaker for green and so on? Demonsword! Just saying. Loved seeing Predator in the "legends that didn't happen" video, and when I saw it could be the commander my mind exploded with possibilities. Were other artifacts considered? With Kamahl and Jeska, I immediately thought of a Mirari commander with eminence and would love to know if others were considered, or if they're "on the plate" for the future. Finally, one near to my heart, I loved seeing the concept for "Ashnod, the Uncaring" in that same video, and while I smiled, I immediately had a huge worry that because we were seeing her that meant she wasn't going to happen at all. Probably an unfounded fear, I mean, we'll likely see her sometime in the future, right? Albeit functionally different than the concept, but she was amazing in the book "The Brothers' War" and is easily a top favorite.

Question time: If you were to take 1 display of Commander legends and want to convert that into a commander cube which sets and mechanics would you look into, to supplement the experience?

I personally could have made two cards out of Opposition Agent's effects and they would still be strong. 2W Human Rogue Flash You control your opponent's while they're searching their libraries. 2B Human Rogue Flash While an opponent is searching their library, they exile each card they find. You may play those cards for as long as they remain exiled, and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to cast them. Both fit within their respective colors, and hose tutor cards.

Hi Gavin! I was wondering if you guys ever planned on making a card for Piru? And what color would she be? For those who don't know: Piru was an Elder Dragon and mate of Chromium. She was killed by Dakkon Blackblade. Now that we're on the topic of Elder Dragons. What about Merrevia Sal? The first Elder to die.

I have been seeing so many box breaks but i find that sisay's ring dont appear much at all. is the pull for this card specifically reduced?

Question: What is the possibility of commanders being released without a limited environment or pre con, but still readily available unlike secret lairs. I like many have wanted a Energy commander but that seems near impossible with how these products work.

Question: I assume that the idea of partner as a returning mechanic caused some concern on the design team (even if they were limited to single colors). Was there a specific point that was made that convinced those who were initially opposed to the idea agree to go along with it?

Question: Some of the colour choices seem really odd for some of the legends characters (Like Achelous, kwain and Gor muldrak) when designing a character how much of the sets need for colour balance influences the character design and how much is just who the character is in the lore?

If I'm correct, when you end the the turn with Obeka on the end step to evade triggers like Sneak Attack or Flameshadow Conjuring, you're only delaying it to the next end step, due to the fact the games remember stae-based actions and what brought out what. Unless you stifle those triggers, they will never disappears. Also, notice it says "next end step"? Well, then since you skipped your end step, those triggers will just appear again next end step.

That is true, unless you let it trigger in the end step. For example, if you go to your end step and let Flameshadow Conjuring's exile trigger, then end the turn in response, it won't trigger again. :)

since Jeska was in the set, was there ever the idea to add a new version of Phage as well?

In commander legends, were any "sequel" cards considered, or cards that heavily reference past cards? An example of a sequel card is something like how Aberrant Researcher is a "sequel" to Insectile Aberration.

My brother was using an Obeka centered deck. When He tried to gain an extra turn, i said "if you Don't attack me, i'll give you something that you'll remember forever", He agreed, didn't atked me for The 2 turns. Then, when He tried tô cheat the stack, i disallowed Obeka.

When developing Commander legends when you were creating the commanders did you have thought of the draft gameplay in mind or Commander in general in mind.

Question: how long has this set been in devolopment for and how was the set originally thought of as a commander draft experience? I’m assuming it was probably around the time of conspiracy or battlebond that the idea was going around.

Question: Why did you decide to make Araumi of the Dead Tides in blue/black colors? I'm asking, because the "Encore"-ability seems to be fit for all colors in one way or another.

Was Balthor or Karona ever considered for Commander Legends? If so, what ideas were thought up for the cards.

I know this might be to specific. However, what inspired the design of Thalisse and what plane is she from? Is she from a plane not revealed yet?

You will have much more meaningful help asking on a forum and "simply" adapting to your meta! Do some research on which cards can be useful to your strategy AND stop opposing strategies like Aanimar! For example.

Did you ever consider having a text with something along the lines of draft partner. Like the commander could have another partner but only when drafted. And then there would be no need to nerf any mono colored commanders for the sake of normal play. When partners were first announced in the set and people were upset about the idea of more partners this was the first thing I thoughts of and was wondering if you guys did too.

On Bell Borca. Where's the white part of his card. All I see is red. He would be passable as 2RR */5. I feel that he's missing an ability like lifelink.

The exile matters part is definitely white because it looks at more than just the impulse draw he comes with.
