I'd really hope for a retail edition of this to come out in the future, given that conventions in the US aren't accessible to a great amount of people. I think the set looks incredible, but ig I'll have to settle for my printer/secondary market for now.
it was the worst fucking mistake to release this right after a secret lair super drop of 21 lairs. I used to think five or six was a lot, but this combined with the "Well, you guys don't want too much product" and not making one of the coolest sets available more broadly. No longer supporting WOTC
if there isnt a retail version of this, it might as well not exist for the majority of players. if this is convention and secret lair only, ill never be able to play it! really hope this isnt just a gigantic tease.
You made a great edition and then made it only buyable at events and at a high price. You are the same pricks you've been for the last decade, but now you just know how to create desirable product

Oh my gosh! Mystawe boostah 2! You guys are a joke. Let's hit them with another paywall is not creative. Nothing you do is creative. There were so many Alchemy players that wanted cards in this set? How delusional can you get? What Alchemy players? Don't worry we put an acorn stamp on it, and completely glossing over the fact you will now have to print power 9 tokens to shuffle into the deck. You just happen to pick the one that let's you reprint the reserved list cards as tokens then put them behind the conveniently placed paywall of going to one of your horrible conventions that people have to shell way too much money for hot un-organized trash or wait in everyone's favorite secret lair que line! Stop patting yourselves on the back, you're ruining this game.

WotC makes Assassin's Creed, a product that should have been secret lair or commander decks, as a sealed product that nobody wanted and that couldn't even be drafted. Now MB2, a product designed to be played in a sealed format and loved by fans, is only available at a convention? What an excellent business strategy.
So... obviously, the biggest elephant in the room is the whole retail edition issue. My thoughts about this have been said by others so I won't say too much more, of course this product would be a bestseller if it were sold at the LGS too. The other thing I wanted to talk about is the idea of reprinting things with the planeswalker stamp like this (such as this, or the List in MKM, and to a lesser extent in Secret Lair decks). The MKM List seems like it was carefully designed to avoid anything super ambiguous, but when a card gets reprinted without having the text updated, it does bring up the issue that some people might not know that Corrupt or Ancient Hydra's ability can hit planeswalkers. (On the flip side of this, Culling the Weak is an excellent choice of a card to print with updated text!)
Playtest card mechanic request, I don't know if it's already been done - a card that gets rid of the linked abilities restriction. Let us abuse Arc-Slogger!
No one: The world: "OMG look at all these stock markets collapse!!!" WoTC: "Here's some more surprise overpriced cardboard for you to buy!"
if there isn't a retail version then why should the average player care? Secret Laird will be scalped unless you are incredibly lucky/privileged and most players can't afford to travel to conventions IF they're even are cons in your country (some countries have none) if there isn't a retail version released this is gonna be a huge blight on attempts for any kind of good will with players

I know it's not your job, just making sure to also repeat to you and a place wotc might see that a LGS version would be greatly appreciated and wanted. It shouldn't be a privilege to play with a cool set

Sorry but, I won't be touching this set, regardless of where you make it available. White border was bearable 20 years ago, but it looks awful with modern digital art. Also, Future Sight design was a cool gimmick back in the day, but it also looks bad when overdone, like you're doing in this case. I bought so much of the first Mystery Booster, I'm really disappointed with the direction Wizards has chosen for this product.
I would do anything to get this released as a retail product. I love love love the white border frames and miss seeing them. That Future Sight frame though is also very awesome. I know your going to keep hearing it from a lot of players this set needs to be a set the normal population of players need to be able to get a hold of without jumping through hoops to get them. What about your players that can't attend cons? (I'm also one of the ones who are Immunocompromised so a con is a no go for me.) The locking them behind a huge trip/pay wall is really really disappointing. Also locking them behind a massive Secret Lair Pay wall is not cool either. I'm prepared for the instant sell out of the "Festival in a Box." This would be a fantastic set to draft at like FNM or at home with a bunch of friends.

Really upsets me they didn’t get rid of the horrid pw symbol in the bottom left and not just actually print the cards in new border with oracle text with new cards 😭 the white border and future site borders are funny as fuck I love that idea. Also the set symbol is such a miss, constantly seen so many online proxies with that symbol it gets even harder to tell what a real magic card is nowadays

Sliver Gravemother won me over rather quickly. My commander deck is built to synergize with her, specially now that I got myself a Sundial of the Infinite.

Retail for all the people who cant go to vegas or afford a Festival in a Box.... LGS draft is the best experience
Flights from Australia to the US are wildly expensive. For me to play this exciting set I would need to make that trip. That's prohibitive in so many ways. Please make a retail version.
As delightful as the Future Sight treatment is, I would've loved to see it reserved for another Future Sight style set

Neat set! Really unfortunate that you're using it to drive convention attendance rather than letting the vast majority people play it. Not all of us can spend hundreds of dollars traveling to play a draft format. Release it as a premium set even I don't care, it would do *numbers* at every LGS in the country.
I would never be able to handle all the whining from the community . I can’t comprehend how so many people feel the need to complain about seemingly every single thing
