This show was so good , I swear the merge between Jetix and Disney was so stupid basically killed my childhood, I miss Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go too Q.Q plus Get Ed and Gargoyle :( those will all be missed on my television.

Oban holds up rather well and the story is deeper and darker than I ever realized as child. Jetix was a fantastic sub-network, on par with Toonami imo. There was a golden age of modern, somewhat mature cartoons that has been quite neglected. Now we only have a handful of good cartoons regarding every network combined.

You mentioned wanting more of W.I.T.C.H. well, I have some good news in a way. They haven't said there was going to be a new season, but Yen Press is reprinting the comics, and I am pretty sure that they are going to actually translate the whole series, instead of stopping halfway through like before. And with currently having read the first 3 arcs, I think, the comics are SO much better than the show. And yes, I do have nostalgia for the show.

Oh man, this show was gorgeous to me when it was on Jetix. I was a teen then, but Jetix introduced me to so many anime and cartoons that would have been forgotten. Bureau of Alien Detectors, Shinzo, Daigunder, B-daman. It also allowed me to see the Disney Era Power Rangers, especially my favorite, Dino Thunder, and see shows I saw as a young kid, like the Tick and Spider-Man. Jetix really cemented my love for animation and I miss it even today.

Just randomly thought of this show and decided to go on a little nostalgia trip.

I remember staying up ALL night to watch this show when the 2:30 version was shown and happily being yelled the following morning because I over slept and missed the school bus. And no matter how many times it happened, I always deemed it totally worth it. Still do, even.

Ahhhh the nostalgia! This anime was lowkey ahead of its time. It looks great all these years later, and the characters are still sick. This, Digimon Tamers and Frontier, and all the Toonami stuff were the reason I got so into anime.

When Jetix was still a thing. I never missed an episode of this. She was one of my biggest role models growing up.

There is currently an active KICKSTARTER campaign going on to put season 1 on Bluray. Project goal was met 1.5 hours after launch. All that remains now are stretch goals. Series creator said that if this campaign dose well enough the remaining funds from it will go towards getting season 2 going.

So glad I finally remembered what this show was called. One of my favorite things as a kid was the Podracing from Star Wars, and being able to watch what was basically a cartoon of it every morning was fantastic. Never finished it, but I'll definitely have to now. RIP Jetix, we hardly knew ye.

Ah truly a show that would grip your entire being into watching it I remember staying up just to watch the newest episode back in the day

This was one of the must _fucking EPIC_ American cartoon opening songs to come out in the early 2000s. Not only did the scenes from the show blow a wad of awesome at us in only 60s seconds, but the song _itself_ should have been made into a top 10 single. It was like 80s toons had been upgraded for the new Millennium. How shows like this can only run one season and we have more than fucking *10 years* of a squealing, idiot yellow sponge is _beyond_ my comprehension!

After so long... I finally found my childhood jams. This was a major part of growing up for me.

When I was little, I would stay up without anyone knowing to watch this show. I barely remember anything about it or the characters other than a few little memories here and there, but the biggest memory I have was I LOVED this show!! I'm about to start re watching it :3

I use to watch this show all the time when it was on Toon Disney. They use to call it JetX, before the channel was taken off. It's a shame that me and very few other people watch this show. T^T

I never saw the ending as a kid. When I was little, Jetex was my life. Back then, my mom wouldn't let me watch anime, except for Oban because it was a Jetex show. I didn't really understand it at the time, so I stopped watching it until a couple years ago when I finally saw it all the way through. Man, that show still holds a place in my heart as the show that got me into anime ☺

Random question, how much of a pain in the ass would it be to copy a digital music file from a Bluray? I am getting a season 1 Bluray box set around Thanksgiving of this year. If the full version of this is on that Bluray set I will post it on KZread. Provided it is on this set and it's not to much of a pain in the ass to do so.

I didn't expect to enjoy this show so much when I watched it through. I always saw glimpses of it on TV years ago and though little of it, but deep down it has a touching story and that ending... GAWD that ending, I don't normally like racing shows but this was GOOD.

Just got done rewatching this show a minute ago. This show, W.I.T.C.H and Dragon Booster were my top favorite shows on Jetix. 2004 to 2009 was still a good time for watching action and adventure cartoons/anime in my opinion

As a kid I watched this show for a number of reasons, Eva/‘Molly’ reminded me a lot (looks and name wise) of an old friend I once knew a few years before discovering Jetix, it had racing, action and it’s fair share of scary parts. When I rediscovered it as a teenager (and binge watched it 4 times in a single week while struggling to keep myself together after my grandfather’s passing) I was continuously blown away by each new small detail in each episode I had failed to notice the previous times I’d watched it and despite not crying when I got the news of my grandfather’s death, this show nearly broke me on more than one occasion, a feat no other children’s show has ever come close to doing. This show was gold the first time I watched it, and it’s only got better with age.

One of my favorite shows from the Jetix generation...it was this amd PRMF that I enjoyed with Get Ed right behind them #RememberTheJetix

I grew up with this series and I always tried to stay awake to watch the next episode at 11 pm but man was it hard to do it without my mother coming in and telling me to go to sleep. Gooooood times.

Every Once in awhile a Dubbed opening gets done RIGHT. THIS IS one of those times!

I had a list of songs that I had written down for an idea some years back. Today I found said list and couldn't figure out what song "Never Say Never" was, and why there was no artist next to it. And after scrolling through so much Justin Beiber listings for said song, I'm glad I found this vid again and proved I hadn't lost my mind.

Finally rediscovering this opening and it couldn't be any more awesome.

What I really appreciated about this intro song was that it reminded me of Shuki levy's work on Saturday morning cartoon intros from the 80's; it's catchy, driving and concise. Kinda feel like a kid again.

I think it's an understatement to say that this dude's vocal abilities are fucking awesome!

I love this anime but no one I tell about it takes it seriously because of the fact no one has noses...sigh By the way my favorite character was Spirit XD

SamplingMastersXLR8 When I said they don't take it seriously I mean, because they aren't drawn with noses everyone I tell about this shows thinks the artists were lazy and it not even worth watching. You were kind of being a bit to literal with what I was saying...No offense.

The international release Opening and it's remix have allot more emotion in them and fit much better with the visuals. This song while good, just isnt very distinctive (it could be an opening of just about any other animated serie)

Give me a break the Japanese version is just as much of a template as this one. They both literally him the necessary beats to grab attention. Both have emotion, but on in the context of being invested in the show as a whole.

The japanese one, wich match perfectly this French anime. The Rythm and emotion are magnificient. This one is like 10 others you can found. And saddly it's a problem in a lot of English opening during the 2000's

This is more rememberable than the Japanese version

as a student for animation i can say that what they did here with combining 3D and 2D really was exceptional and its a shame that most shows nowadays are rigged animation and dont even try to go reach new horizons like this
