the rules state: if the nominator has nominated, the nominee is to donate under 24 HOURS in order to NOT POUR WATER THAT IS COLD OVER SELF you basically have to punish urself if u did not donate under 24 hours, so Obama did the right thing

Emergency service people, and any government officials cannot participate in demonstrations, protests, etc. Because it shows a bias when you're supposed to be neutral. THAT is a fact if you've taken any general government class.

Tipping water over your head does fuck all unlike actually donating money, lots of people did it as a thinly veiled attempt to seem like a good person to others. I think that might be his point.

I got nominated just today by a friend. So, I'm gonna honour the challenge! Although, I think some people have forgotten the purpose of the challenge and so there's not really much being donated to ALS. It's what I've heard, anyway...
