Goanikontes is a stunning resort and camp situated in the lunar landscape of Namibia, amid the Namib Naukluft and Dorob National Parks. The natural surroundings are amazing and the rest camp is just 50 m away from the Swakop River. The beautiful moon landscapes strikes the oasis and even the famous Welwitschia grows close by. Take some days to spend in the sunny oasis and enjoy nature and sunshine or take part in our self-drive scenic tour. Accommodation is offered in comfortable bungalows, each with their own braai facility. In addition, there are twelve shady campsites, each with its own braai facilities, and toilets and showers close by. There is an on-site restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch.
Our accommodations…well…accommodate everyone who wants to break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life into the tranquility of the Namibian landscape. Everyone will find just what they need at our Oasis.
Our family units offer the perfect home-base for families on adventure, offering the comfort and rest of a home-away-from-home. The A-Frame Bungalow sits tucked away in the boulders of the Moon Valley, perfect for couples who want to feel like they are the only people alive or writers who want to forget about every other person but the ones they are bringing to life on paper. While luxury is a given, what sets Goanikontes Oasis apart is our rustic feel and incorporation of the environment in our aesthetic.
For the more adventurous of heart, our Igloo-inspired bungalows will offer a cosy abode for those who want to rough it out in a more organic structure, perfectly suiting the Namibian environment. Our Campsite, on the other hand, will give those who want to bond with Mother Nature in her Moon Landscape the chance to experience an unearthly experience like no other.
