Hi Nick, great videos! Question on wild camping - everywhere I read that it’s illegal in Namibia. Is it easy to get away with / anything to worry about? Are there rangers in the parks (Dorob or Skeleton) etc? Love wolf camping. Thank you!

Wild camping in national parks are illegal. So definitely dont try it in the Skeleton Coast National Park, or Sossusvlei etc I use this guide. If I passed through a gate and had to pay then wild camping is out of the question, and you will be caught and punished, yes there are rangers. Everywhere else in Namibia is ok for a quick one night camp. Try and be out of sight when you camp. Do you use the iOverlander app, it is extremely useful to find site in Namibia,

You can see a lot of Namibia without a 4x4, including driving all the way up to Terrace Bay/Skeleton Coast. Some gravel roads are long and a bit tough on a car, but no 4x4 needed. Extra spare tyre and a pump and you are good to go
