I love this version, I hope it will be on the Definitely Maybe reissue this year. I love that this mix features just Liam's falsetto, Liam's falsetto is also on the regular album version, it's just that they put two of Liam's vocal tracks over each other

This sorta thing is why Noel shouldn't have so much control over anniversary reissues and such like. All we get is a mass dump of his same-y acoustic demos. That amazing live 'Up in the Sky' (with falsetto) somehow didn't make it onto the last deluxe edition 'Definitely Maybe'.

Such a crisp redux of raw Rock n Roll with a passion only these insanely gifted, bollocksed brothers deliver. Still great solo artists, but together it was magical.

Totally agree. Liams voice is just magic and defines the oasis sound, they should release more of Liams early vocal material

LG would probably be fine with releasing this stuff, but who knows. Actually there was an mp3 leak years ago of the Safety Masters of a bunch of rough mixes from Definitely Maybe. So much stuff on there that could've been officially released. Disappointing.

@@eddysandland58although capable at the time, Liam didn't sing the falsetto on Live Forever album version. It was a duet of Noel and Owen Morris. Edit: *Marcus Russell and Owen Morris.

La voz de Liam aquí es fabulosa. Ojalá la hubiera cuidado más, la hubiera conservado mejor. Los arreglos y solos de guitarra se nota que no están tan pulidos como la versión del disco. En cuanto al sonido de la banda en general, se nota que es igual de crudo que en el disco.

This is a great version of Columbia! I'm not surprised to hear more Liam doing more falsetto parts. Some early recordings of Up in the sky include a beautiful falsetto of Liam. I'm sure these aren't the only ones he's done. That Oasis vault must be incredible. Does Slow actually exist?
