This is actually the same vocal used on DM. It just sounds "better" because Owen Morris used his varispeed trick when Mastering the track

@@AkyovNorthWest his tone and the way he is hitting the high notes sound completely different to what is on the record. This has to be a different take. All of the vocals from the sawmill sessions (which this is from) are different to what is on the record. In a lot of the songs he sounds much cleaner than what ended up on the final record. You’re right the audio was remixed, however, much of the vocals were re-recorded, owen Morris has stated this

Yeah, without that the sing is incomplete, without its very soul
The original version is better in every department besides the quality of the high notes in this one, they are far superior here. That said, overall, the original is the better of the two
The lyrics on this are not in the right sequence, doesn't come to close to the original, I just don't see the point of this ,as noel says himself I can listen to the real version or live recordings so why would I want to listen to this ,just don't get it to be honest ,but that's just me ,
