Can you do a comparison between Oaksmith Gold and Blenders Pride Reserve. I think that would be a more fair comparison. Oaksmith is bound to be much smoother than BP. A comparison with BP-Reserve would be better

I was a regular blender drinker from past few years but now I started Oak Smith 🤘 the taste is very rich and smooth it's A very Good blended wishky in this price..

You're absolutely right. Oaksmith Gold tastes superb with Soda too. Gold standard in this range of whiskeys available in India.

Oaksmith Gold definitely has an edge, Also sometimes one feels like trying something new in same category so, it will be an favorite choice.

Another great review....dying to get my hands on oaksmith...really looking forward to sipping something in this price range without ethanol/nail polish remover burn on the nose :)

tried 2 days ago..Loved the aroma, taste nd smoothness of oaksmith gold...you feel that drinking a sctoch whisky in budget..It become very popular in indian market in future...

Always used to opt for BP within that 1k price range back in the days. Since I tried OSG it has been my go to whiskey these days. The bourbony touch that leaves my palate is phenomenal. Truely a great product from Suntory distillaries. Great blend.

Oaksmith Gold is literally liquid Gold. Will beat many records in the years to come.

He's right Bro, Oaksmith is blend of American Oak and Japanese Mellowness it's like 2 culture in 1 whiskey, like Jakie Chan and Tom Cruise in same movie 👌

Oaksmith Gold at its Price Point simply has no match.Flawleslly Crafted. Such a Superior Blend!!! Blenders Pride has a lot to catch up when put up against Oaksmith Gold.

Both are different and it's again based on the individual taste profile. Both are good. Burn 🔥 or Sweet 🍬🍭 it's individual choice

very good review. I agree with u Manish ji that OG would be more smoother than BP though I havent tasted it yet. I have tasted BP many times but obviously these whiskies cannot be consumed nit like scotch n Bourbon. I have scotch n Bourbon in my collections as I like them most n Indian whiskies for party occasions :)

Although oaksmith is very recently launched but it can be compared with any entry level scotch. Blender's pride reserve collection is almost like any entry level scotch. I am no expert but after tasting all entry level scotch i think it's just wastage of money to drink scotches like red level , william lawson, 100 pipers except teachers highland cream.

Oaksmith Gold is definitely better due to Bourbon Woody and smoky taste. Its too smooth with a bit sweet and complex taste in reasonable price. Best smoky whisky in low budget. Blender is having neutral spirit in nose not as smooth as Oaksmith, and BP is woody in taste and bit strong to have neat.

Oaksmith gold and silver both r awesome. Infact I feel it's better than maqintosh. Thanks

Kindly review and ranking blenders, Oaksmith gold, machintosh and Rockford reserve. Because all are same price range in Mumbai and all don't have molasses.

Oaksmith best with a dash of water. Blenders best with cola. But oaksmith is too uncomplicated in taste. Suntory should launch a more complex version of smith gold.

Oksmith Gold is probably for beagner you can easily drink neat whisky... 🍺🥃🥂

There is this whiskey "BP Blue" that I recently tasted. The price was a little higher than the regular BP but the smoothness was next level. Idk why it's not very popular.

Reason is that excise duties on liquor are imposed and collected by State governments, not by Central government.
