I fully agree with you. Some youtubers have made nonsensical comments without any logical reasoning. I had commented on one such post also. I have tried most of the popular brands of scotch from reputed vendors of gurgaon and didn't find any issue with quality.

Haryana main nakli sharab hi milti hai. We never buy from Gurgaon. Now a days even the expensive brands like monkey shoulder and glen are coming fake.

Another reason is that in Haryana govt allows vendors to sell on discounts (the reason behind what you said that dealers are giving offer due to volume) which other states typically do not allow. Remember in recent past Delhi had allowed something similar and vends were goving offer like buy 1 get 1 free.

I don"t agree with you on VAT theaory, if ex-factory price of red label is 800 Rs then in gurgaon by adding 3.2% vat it will become 900/- and in maharashtra VAT is 30 % then it will become 1050/- Rs How come it"s price in maharashtra is @2500/-. You are missing something. Even if you consider mass sale, Wholesale etc. Then also it will add another couple of hundred Rs. I think there are many channels tried to justify Gurgaon low liquer price, but none of you made it properly. There are catagory wise tax structure for eg. Domestic or imported liquer, price slab etc and may be some tax related to state of manufacturing etc. Then import duty, contry of origin etc. I request you to please make through comparision of 2 or 3 brands of diff states for better understanding of issue. Tabular format will be good Pl check following potential reasons 1) company itself adjust qality for cost competition in each state 2) other taxes which are not considered in your video 3)state wise taxes on manufacturing of liquer 4) supply chain and margins etc.

You are 100% correct. Yes the samples only 2 are not enough to make the decision. not even opened the one bottle. VAT, TAX does not matter the product should be genuine and quality should be there... Fake products are very common nowdays....

In chandigarh also if u buy any impotred or indian brand you can see the difference. The moment u open the bottle cap it feels like only strong spirits added into that.i had worst experiences so many times.Local L 1 use to adulrate the liquor even after change the seal and make attractive packing by offring Glass and some compliments to get more sale.

There is hell lot of difference between assumption and reality... It seems you are assuming something and try to correlate the same.. Have you ever tried to check with any big liquor brand. It's very easy every bottle having customer care contact details mentioned.. You should try to contact them and get you bottle checked..

you know boys(front desk sellers) at liquor stores in haryana even in karnal they used to open the bottle neck and replace red labels with royal stag or Desi daru. It happens on Highway liquor stores mostly.

Agree, but this is different thing. This cheating by some sales man or even small thekas. It doesn't mean Fake Liquor being sold at Gurgaon at less price..

You are very correct sir. Taste & smell differ if it's bottled in India is because different states & distilleries taste of water differs. Usually Scotch concentrates are imported from Scotland which is only 30% of the liquid & remaining is water. permitted colours, essence etc which are added in the local distillery. This really matters. Bottling in India is done for cost cutting. For example cost of the bottle GUALA CAP in England will cost around around RS 60 compared to RS 15 in India. Guala cap have their MFG facility in Goa. Like wise Red label bottle cost in England MFG by Crone will cost RS 200 but if the same bottle is MFG in India will cost RS 60 & Crone has MFG facility in Alwar Rajasthan. Like wise labour cost, import duty of India, shipping charges etc will be saved if MFG in India. As you said MFG Scotch whisky duplicate in India is impossible. About 1 or 2% fake maybe there but that is just irrelevant & Asians are famous in doing it. Finally buyers should be careful before you buy anything whether liquor/ electric equipment/ automobile spare or anything

On VAT point I am agree... And sales Point of View Maharashtra is not behind, huge selling annually in Mumbai, Pune Nasik, Aurangabad, Nagpur etc... But Still is Price very high, so if selling high and more consumption in Hariyana this reason Taxes are Low & government making margin through large Volume, So Similarly why not in Maharashtra govt. doing Same... For validation of this point we have to find Actual Data of Overall selling State wise. And rahi baat Fake aur Original ki so isake liye ye Sample Size bahut Chhota hai, ye bahut bada Mudda hai iske liye either sample size bada ho Compairision jyada brand ke saath ho, or Lab tests hi bata sakte hai, Jo kabhi hoga nahi 😛 Isliye in baato se dur rahte hue apni drinks enjoy kare, ye sab tau life time chalta rahega 😂 Cheers 🥃🥃 and Nice Video Sir 👍

Delhi me Red Label ka price pahle 1400 se upar tha phir 950/- hua an 1700 he. Does that mean when they were selling it for lower price it was fake and now when they are selling for 1700 it’s genuine??

PATIALA: An organized module of liquor smugglers was busted by the Punjab excise department and district police Fatehgarh Sahib. The gang was involved in smuggling cheap liquor from Chandigarh into expensive imported scotch brands. Four members of the gang were arrested with fake liquor, which includes 4 cases of Chivas Regal, 4 cases of Glenlivet and 2 cases of Gold label reserve. Joint excise commissioner Naresh Dubey said that secret information was received that an organized gang is involved in smuggling cheap liquor from Chandigarh into Punjab and further fill it in bottles of expensive scotch brands.

In mejority of liquor artificial colour 150a being used to darken the colour.. That means it is being added during bottling.. a slight difference can be observed in different batches or Liquor comming from different bottling plant.. I hope it clarifies your doubts.. Cheers 🥂

I could easily make out the difference between the bottle and packaging. If its manufactured under the same brand then why difference in packaging and bottle size. I can vouch there are some genuine sellers but at the same time cannot deny that some of them sell spurious liquor. Please talk on facts rather then your experience.

Uncle dont know you are paid by Haryana liquor stores or not. One can fake by mixing red label with cheaper whiskies, its hit or miss buying from Haryana. They are 50% fakes.

Experienced it myself! Never got a genuine bottle in gurgaon ! The duty free stuff was day and night from the gurgaon stuff. To be honest all the whiskies i got from gurgaon had a very similar taste and tasted the same! They all tasted like turpentine! Even my uncle who is an nri always tasted the gurgaon stuff and said it ain’t the real deal! At this point I’ve lost faith in our local wine shops! Either canteen or duty free is the place to go

Your comparisons with Toyota fortuner and Sony Tv stands null and void. Koi gaddi ki spare parts or engine duplicate karein itna r&d nahi hai…and cars and tv are protected under company warranty unlike easily duplicated consumables like alcohol. Even consumer protection hotlines are bogus in India. Aur koi thodi na jayega consumer court mai to sue the daru company or retailer…since it is still a taboo topic in India

Any brand.rt from royal stag to blue label. This syndicate works all over India. They mix lower quality liquor in higher ones.even bear bottles.bear cans they can't adultrate. That's why they are expensive and at less discount
