    Gohlke never bounces the ball before he nails a 3---he just takes the pass and shoots, fluid, all in one motion, and very difficult to stop. Amazing. Bravo, Gohlke.

    My wife is an instructor at Oakland. We were watching, at first just happy to see the team in the tournament. At various points in the game I thought "here's where Kentucky takes control," but it never happened. Amazing effort by the Grizzlies and a lifetime memory. An upset over college basketball royalty!

    @@johnkim805 man he got fouled on 2! The VERY first shot he didn’t even get touched and he begged the ref for a foul… the announcer literally says “thats not a foul”. He was falling because of the shot selection not because he was getting touched. He probably would have got some calls if he didn’t look at the ref after every shot.

    Great game by the Golden Grizzlies! I liked seeing Oakland act like they've been there before after the game ended. They celebrated like they weren't savoring one win, like a team that believes it won't be exiting the tourney anytime soon, so we shall see on Saturday. I'll be rooting for them to keep advancing.

    This loss should not surprise anyone that follows Kentucky basketball. They couldn't handle a simple zone. They don’t play defense. They didn’t do any hard work. And above all...zero pride.

    Never heard of the young man Gohlke before, but any time I hear an unknown name start getting hot in this tournament, the game gets my full attention. These games show us the hidden gems and future stars on the next level. Way to step up, Oakland. Congrats! Kentucky, maybe try soccer? Volleyball? Defense?

    This is what I call exciting sports games. March madness never disappoints. It's called madness for a reason. I love watching underdogs win. Not a fan of any college football but love march college ball.

    When this coach took the job in 1984 Oakland was a Division 2 School. Do you think he would have believed you if you told him he would one day beat the University of Kentucky in the NCAA D1 Tournament at the same school? Unbelievable, what a career accomplishment.

    John Calipari hasn’t won a national championship since he had Anthony Davis in 2012. It may be time for Kentucky to think about making a coaching change, because this is the 2nd year in a 3 years that this basketball program has been ousted in the first round of the tournament

    His buyout is quite expensive. 33M to be exact. That's the only reason he's still there. I understand a few of those losses early, but no way this team should of went out like that.

    Going back a long way, but Houston cougars and phi slamma jamma (Drexler, Olajawon, etc) felt that way. But anything can happen in one game. It's not a seven-game series. Take your lumps and give credit. Oakland played well and we're clutch.

    Golhke reminded me of a legend called Larry Bird who averaged 30 points a game and led the league in 3point shots in 1978-1979 at Indiana State University. His incomplete team went 33-0 and lost to a more complete team in Michigan State led by Earvin Magic Johnson record 26-6. Score 75-64

    College basketball just has a lot of variety teams are not just extremely overpowered like they used to be back when Coach Cal and Kentucky were the only ones really getting the best players the one and done he paved the way with a formula that’s changed a bit and now everyone else has just caught up over the years it’s still Kentucky but this is the reason we love March Madness for games like this
