Dylan, I just purchased my ukulele a week ago and have been watching some of your tutorials -- they are great! I noticed that you use your index finger to strum, I catch myself doing the it with my thumb. Is it wrong? Is this something that I should correct right away before developing a poor habit, or would it be something that each person does a little different? Thanks for your input!!

It's fine to use your thumb. In fact you should be able to use either technique. Using your index finger will help you to strum a bit faster. It's also helpful to learn some finger picking techniques. As another ukulele teacher, Cynthia Lin tells us, "There are no rules in ukulele". LOL... The important thing is to be in command of which strumming method you're using. In other words, "Be Intentional". Cheers!
