NZ High School vs HSFY (Health Science First Year) Otago Experience
In this video, I will cover six key differences between an NZ high school and the HSFY (Health Science First Year) experience at Otago University. Kia ora, My name is Esther, and I'm a 4th year medical student @ Otago University. I found the shift between high school and uni significant. So I wanted to make this video to help future HSFY students better understand what HSFY is like compared to high school and share some helpful tips on preparing for HSFY.

Hello Esther, thank you so much for this video. It has helped me understand what health science is really like. If you do make more videos could you possibly make one on what halls have great support for HSFY students or how year 13's are able to prepare for the work volume HSFY brings. Awesome video and very informative!
