    "Dude literally was raised from a kid to be a professional skater." Right, but this is true for pretty much most of today's pros though. You can't get into skateboarding at age 20 and compete against kids who started at age 6 and have been doing pro competitions since age 13. It just can't be done in a sport this technical and skill based.

  • @CubensisEnjoyer

    @CubensisEnjoyer

    3 жыл бұрын

    PHeMoX Most pros grew up skating but a lot of them did whatever they wanted when they skated as kids. Nyjah’s dad put him through what is pretty much the skating equivalent to circuit training while he was growing up which is why his tricks are so perfect every time. I guess what I mean is Nyjah trained more systematically than anyone else as a kid and his style reflects that.

But so is every single other established pro that has had a similar level of success. Burnquist has a mega ramp in his yard. Hawk has a skatepark at his house and a private vert ramp. And Bam, when he was still pro, flexed harder than any other pro at the time with his Ferraris and castle bam. I just don’t get why people get so salty about Nyjah.

    You gotta earn a name in skateboarding. You can’t think some energy drink & sponsors that don’t give back to the culture make you some legend when he ain’t the only guy sponsored but what’s he doing to help like Tony hawk. People Hated him & he became a major role in skateboarding history & actually giving back. Not spending money from sponsors on crappy exotic cars-Not acting like you don’t gotta give back to those who even support you. So when you become sponsored it’s deeper than money, the wins. This is a culture & some exploit it & give back nothing & take everything so we don’t expect everyone to get we dot mess with sell outs, explosive brands & wack posers who think every pro is the best when they can be pricks, narcissistic & some sponsors & awards don’t make you the best skater as many have died & been good but great because what they did for skateboarding.

    Nyjah, you are the greatest skateboarder on the planet . I've watched you for nearly a decade now. What drew me to you and your style was not only your skating ,but the fact that ... I thought you were a true Rasta person, what with your great dreads and everything. One thing though, you need to stick with what you truely believe. Dreads represents true Rastafarian in nature to the cause of why rastas wore long dreads. It's a culture, that came from the heart. You can't cut it off because you felt you need to make a change in your life. Too many young people these days use things and discard it in a flash . You are showing just that by suddenly you changing to a culture that shouldn't be your new way to describing you. You now are showing a look of rap , I think you are rapped up a little too tightly. Look at your name, Nyjah, you and I know ,if it's your parents who named you , then you should take this to your soul and treat it like an honor and wear it like it was intended. Don't abandoned it just because ,yeah, just because ! This culture of Rastafarianism isn't something you can just toss aside like an old rag doll. I dig your skating, keep it up , thanks.
