One of my students of only 6 months was mugged at knife point. He blocked the knife stab and ended the fight with one blow. I would suggest that educate yourself a little more by studying a real martial arts that emphasizes self defense instead "sport." Fighting for your life is not the same as rolling around on the ground for a tap out.
