hola, jonathan! i got 2 !! i just love this pedal so much!! i recently gave up on my boutique pedals and sold them, i have a big chunk of money back in my savings account and invested a little nothing and built two pedalboards. my main pedalboard is: tuner by rowin, american sound by joyo, reverb by cuvave, digitech drop, steel singer by nux, tubeman by nux (tubescreamer) monterey univibe by nux, 5band eq by rowin and crybaby mini. and it goes trough my bose s1 pro ..man!! i couldn't be more happier with the sounds coming out of it!! hendrix tones, SRV tones and sayce tones.. just screaming guitar tones at a moderate volume...definitely this pedal helped me and helps a lot to get those classic strat sounds. it is a most have!!! and pocket friendly!! great review and love your guitar tone!! greetings from mexico! cheers!

This is an amazing pedal, I bought a used one for 30 euros and it sounds awesome. Really love it with a high Level and low Drive and Filter. It is impressive how it affects mid-tones but retains clarity and a super attack for super sweet overdrive tones. It also impacts the low tones, especially on the wound string, you can clearly hear it if you try to play a power chord. Super pedal (I also bought the NUX 65 another fantastic pedal that shares some similarities with this one).

I can see having two of these on your board. One as an always on pedal with light gain, and another for higher gain solos. Great pedal. Mine gets here tomorrow.

How have you found the pedal I’m considering buying one

Being a stratman, loving blues rock, I digged a lot the tones from this pedal. About the filter, it boosts the mids but at the same time it needs to adjust the volume.

I’ve picked this up recently and use it as an always on with the gain really low and filter at 3 o’clock - really nice with a strat. It has an interesting mid eq, use it before a klon and it stacks well. My strat has noiseless pickups - you are right, it’s not noisy, it’s like a TS.

@@JonIsJustTooLoud I tried to replicate its sound on the stomp using an eq block and a TS but ended up sounding more klon like than “Dumble”. It didn’t sound very nice with the litigator amp model so I use it with fender style or clean amps. Love the Jam, butifull music. Thank you. I am thinking of bying this pedal, and the "plexi" i the same series to use with my Katana 100 Mark II. I hope that will be usefull in giving my amp some different personality's. I also have invested in a Wampler Tumnus DeLux I can trhu in the mix.

Good tone. That high pass filter is kinda a limiting tone selection range... but for the amp model type sound we are looking for it does well, and is a less expensive alternative to the original. I like stinging tops, but sometimes want fat teardrop shaped tone.

Your playing is great and that is an awesome tone. It’s almost like the Larry Carlton Room 335 tone in places. What amp model are you using? I use native all the time. I sometimes get stuck looking for sounds with the built-in effects they all start sounding the same.

I mostly use the Fender Deluxe or the twin..

I see you have added to your collection a ukulele and a mandolin. I have always thought I'd love a little guitar but I want 6 strings. I finally found 2 types in the Spanish folk musical instrument category (but now I can't afford it), the laud and the bandurria. They can be heard on youtube. The bandurria has a fantastic soprano voice, but very few frets. The laud is an octave lower and has more frets.

Hello Jon. I was gifted a Revv G2 brand new from (Steve guitar KZread) and as an extreme surprise to me. I was told thanks for being so supportive which I must say, I support many. I wish I could afford patreon as I am growing my own little channel as you know. Anyway I was told he was given 2 and figured he'd pass one to me. Oddly enough it turns out he lives about hour from me. Or so. Hahahaha. Anyway again, ...Sorry for the backlog. I want to try it out but I have NO amp. Only a boss Gt1 and older Vox tonelab ex...I wonder if I have any other plausible option to review this pedal. If I try to put it in the front of the GT1 with a plain preamp and then try to see how it goes. I'm not sure if that however will be a poor way to review giving bad sounds ... Figured I'd ask. I also have helix native but didn't think puting direct to Interface would be safe ...your thoughts ?

I literally buy and sell them usually to fund my G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) often in the quest for better tone. I recently sold my Analogman Sunface Red Dot with Germanium NKT275 transistors ...to help buy a car. "You sold the bluesmobile for a microphone?"- Blues Brothers.

Please forgive my ignorance, but is there somewhere I can get you music? I love your jazz rock style!
