My Atlantic is stuck in kill dry mode. I have contacted Cherub Technology and they advised me to watch this video... which I have done several times. Power cycling is not fixing the problem. It was a great pedal... until I updated the firmware. I don't use shimmer. Kill dry isn't something I use. It's no fun that a $150 pedal only lasts 3 years in home use. I have power cycled the unit many times since this happened. It returned to the demonstrated behavior without "kill dry" only once after the power cycling routine. Then the next time I booted up the pedal, it was back into "kill dry." I google search reveals that others are experiences same/similar behavior.

Thanks for the video! I just did the firmware on my Atlantic and checked the delay side. I found it interesting for ambience but there appears to be no way to control the mix, hence you're left with a delay after the picked note or chord(The first note not sounding)? I'll double check the controls but let me know if there is a way to control dry/wet mix? If not, I may have to go with the previous version. Thanks again!

Hello and thank you for this video! Since the update (successfully) my pedal does not light up, the LEDs remain off, and the USB port does not communicate with the computer... is it possible to revert to the previous version? Thanks

Hi! Could you tell me if when playing new notes they continue to be added to the freeze effect? I mean, if the "wall of sound" keeps growing with the new notes that you play or if it stays the same and you can play OVER it. I hope you understand me haha (Sorry for my english im from Argentina) :)

Hi! Is the kill dry setting preserved after turning off the pedal? Or do I meed to follow the procedure every time I turn it on? I would like to set it in the FX send of my mixer, so it will need to always kill the dry signal.

Yes, it should be preserved so you don't have to reset after every use.

It has no shimmer on every reverb. On spring it's a hold function when i recall it correct.

​@@ThePedalGuyYea me too! The Plate reverb is great and like more level but past 9 o'clock the predelay is pretty long so an update with a predelay control or shorter somehow would be amazing.

I dont need à killdry and not sure I prefer the New shimmers. So ill keep thé old firmware. Plus my computer not able to find the atlantic when plugged with usb cable !!!

Probably had a mod core or something like that in the background. I have a full demo that’s just the Atlantic by itself.

If you mean Kill Dry, this is how Holding down both footswitches. Plug in your power supply. Release both footswitches.

What these guys do is to get all excited about a new feature, like Kill / Dry, and how to switch it on and how to use it.. They forget to tell you how to switch it off.. You need to go through the same process as switching it on, pull out the power plug, hold down both buttons and t h en plug in t h e power lead. T h at turns off kill / dry otherwise it will still be on.... Good luck guys..
