Such a great demo. You’ve really brought out the best in this pedal. I wish it had a dotted 8th (I did email UA to add to their suggestions postbox!), so it won’t be kicking my Starlight and Flint off the board, but it does do some sweet noises.

Building a pedal board right now, man, it adds up quick. This one of about 5 pedals that will be on my board.

Delay and reverb , very similar sounds at times. Why not have both in one box, cool

Got the Del-Verb and think it's pretty realistic. Wish it saved presets better and had MIDI. Also would be nice to have a DECAY knob. For a quick slap on your board, useable reverb/delay it's hard to beat. 'However' , a good pair to compete: Brig and Cloud. Both of these are MIDI, if you need that flexibility.

I've been watching all the available demo-reviews on the Golden Reverberator, & saving up for that....BUT with this demo my eyes have been opened to maybe quiet down my 'studio -grade' perfectionism fault. Hell I don't record. I'm not too proud to bend down to switch modes. (While nice, the lack of pre-sets with UA aren't a deal breaker for me, like for some players). Sound/Tone are top priority. I've often sold my big box, deep menu dive pedals after a year or two, not using most of their brain-power. I simply don't think I NEED the Golden Reverberator, and Starlight now. I've come around to the reasonable money and space saving, but still excellent compromise, UA DelVerb. Pretty sure you just sold me on this with your fun demo. Thanks!

I just bought one on reverb for 250$. Got the golden which is easily the best verb pedal on the planet. And i run an old catlinbread belle epoch into it…so now i get both of the sounds i mostly use in those two pedals in one pedal sine delverb has the ep3 tape delay…plus i get a dmm and pure digi delay as well. Stoked! Killer demo corey.🙏

UAD pedals…can’t touch that. Add to that a badass player, like yourself, Sir Corey!

This pedal is awesome my one and only huge gripe is getting no Decay knob for the reverb, it would have made it perfect!

Nice video and wonderful playing! Question.....I have this pedal and I'm mostly happy with it. I know there's a way to operate it so the Delay button turns on both the delay and the reverb simultaneously, and the Reverb button acts as a tap tempo. Is there a way that the reverb is always on, the Delay button turns on/off the delay and the Reverb button is tap tempo?

Just received mine yesterday. Kind of disappointed you didn't mention the app. Perhaps in a different video. Bought mine used and haven't downloaded the manual yet. You're the first person to explain what the MOD switch does. That's what got me to thinking about the app and manual since I can change what reverbs and delays I assign to the pedal via the app. Was wondering how I can find out the various MOD controls?

LOVE my TC HOF2 But this SMOKES it, i also use an Intellifex stadium verb set med, add the Plate on HOF2 n slave to another amp for a slitly STELLAR result :) LOVE yer playin Corey, first heard you on that Dumblish Indigo amp demo u did waaay back, u stil have it?

Hi Cory I thank you for the great info. I am 69 and have only been using pedals for 2 years. I did get the Golden, Thing is I do like the Delverb and I have a Strymon Brig now and I play ambient drum music with my Rav Vasts,. I wanted to know if I would benefit from getting the Delverb ,or stay with the Brig, delay Or sell it and get the Delverb or Starlight just curious ,Thanks Eddie

Now that the ox stomp is out i see where UA is ultimately going: a floorboard with all these pedals and the ox cabs in one unit. It would blow every other modeller out of the water.

Corey, that was a great demo and I'm actually considering getting this as a result. My question is around note divisions - is there some way to get quarter note, eighth note, dotted eighth note, etc.?

@@coreycongilio Seems like UA has something for everyone. Although the Starlight is still "deeper" than the DelVerb, it's still a lot less crazy that most delay pedals out there. Actually fills a gap because, in my experience, delay pedals are either too simple or so complicated you need a programming background to use them!

Can you explain why there is a Pre delay missing for the reverb on the Del Verb?

I like the whammy bar!

So can you different mix for each, or does the single mix knob control both at the same time?

The reverb is only one knob - so that one knob is your reverb mix, the amount of reverb. So you set the reverb level with that knob, and the delay mix separately with its own mix knob.

Is there a way to set the delay time to say 1/4, 1/8, dotted 1/8, etc.?

tough to say since they're not in the same ballpark as the Delverb has dedicated reverb and delay. That being said, the Halo is on my board 😉

UAFX is a strange company. Killer tones but for some reason they limit presets or make you sacrifice options if you want tap tempo. That’s why I have yet to buy any of their pedals.

I kinda feel the same, but as an owner of the Golden and now also the DelVerb (for two different pedalboards) I find it OK to be limited to just a couple main reverbs and delays, and for anything special on a special song I can choose from a ton of other presets in the app. I actually prefer this over Midi complexity and having a Midi pedal taking up space. The DelVerb packs a huge punch and takes up half the space (or less) for a dedicated reverb plus delay. Having the option of making lots of presets distracts me from actually playing.

Please don’t touch your wammy bar. We want to hear the pitch shifting from the pedal alone. Thank you. Sounds great.

Whammy away as far as I'm concerned.
