One of the best Christmas songs

This brings back so many memories.

I remember this song. It was on a record album I used to have called "Dr. Demento's Greatest Novelty Songs Of All Time: Christmas" (it was part of a series of albums of novelty tunes down through much of the 20th Century). I had another record album called "Christmas Novelty Songs," which also featured this song. I never saw this cartoon, though. I noticed that in the closing credits, it said that the bad little boy who sings this tune was voiced by Daws Butler (best known as the voices of the many Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters like Yogi Bear, Quick Draw MacGraw, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss, etc). Since this was listed as a Stan Freberg record, I always thought that Freberg himself was the voice of the boy, but it turns out that he was only the voice of the burglar disguised as Santa Claus. Since Daws Butler's voice was heard on this record for the majority of the time, shouldn't his name have been on the label, with Stan Freberg listed as a "cameo"? It's only fair.
