Had two fun laps with this BIG beast!
The Mercedes is in a complete different league than the gt3, it is comparable to the gt2 Rs MR thanks to the power and aero.
I was able to come on him in slow corner and braking, but that’s it!
He was on cup R me on used normal cup 2 10 laps old
He let me pass on the second lap and you can observe this beautiful orange car into my right mirror 🤩
Funny fact is that due to the low fuel tank capacity of the Mercedes (74liters!!) he can only do 2.5 fast lap and then refueling 😅
With the gt3 and 90liters tank + better efficiency with out turbo, i can do 7/8 consecutive fast lap 👍🏻

I have to say, this gt3 manual laps are way nicer to relax to. The gt2 laps you did before were so intense you really had to focus to take them in. I also love the manual shift noise more than pdk. Keep the videos coming Seb!

interesting to compare the different lines taken: Mr. Vittel not just following the car in front. Also I imagine difference in weight distribution between 911 and AMG GT accounts for some

AMG GT Black Series 50/50 weight distribution, 40/60 for the 992 GT3.

Hey great driving, nice shifts. Can you explain what is shown on the center screen ? It seems to be related to the lateral G or tyre load but I am unsure.

It is one indicator to the limit reached or not compare to last lap More it is green, better your actual lap is 😃

Can someone explain how drive limit display works?
That AMG pulls away in the straight lines but you reel him in on the corners with the GT3. That’s some driving for your 🍑!
I wish I can drive like you, all I know what and how to do is change gears 😅

Nice driving but what a horrible sounding car. It sounds like it’s out of oil and about to blow up. And what’s with the stupid gimmick infotainment display that’s meaningless? The Germans have lost their way.
