This weird soud is due to the cylinder fireing order wich is different from a standard AMG GT, it is the same as the one on mclarens v8's and you can recongnise it easily. When you add this to turbos, you can only get a bad souding car. Changing the exhaust will only make it louder.

@@bruder4298 Crossplane crank is too overrated. The AMG sounds bad because of the regulations. Mustang Shelby 350, BMW M3 GTR, have a flatplane crank and they all sounds beautiful because the regulations wasn't so strict back then. A few exhaust mods can regain it's true nature

I'm kind of puzzled why they built a flat plane crank for this car that can only rev to 7200 rpm, which really is where the good sound of a flat plane starts to show. The cross plane M156 was able to rev to 7200 and the SLS BS would rev up to 8k, despite having 2.2l of extra displacement.

The new presenters are, comparatively, rubbish. It is a different show, essentially, and noticeably worse, regardless of the few fan bois that show up to defend against the obvious.

This(or the normal GTR) needs a touring option. Similar to the gt3, same engine, minimal interior racey bits and minimal aero on the exterior. The base body is beautiful, it needs more engine options.

The reason for the fabric door pull is when you are strapped in with a the racing harness you wont be able to lean forward and reach the metal door handle - that is why there are both

So what happens to the aero that mean its able to make double the downforce by going just 30% faster? 🤔 Pretty sure generally downforce and drag square with speed, so would need 50% more speed to produce double the force 🤷‍♂️

That's because @Topgear are a bunch of hacks. They really can't make their own car show so they steal what ever they can from the Big 3.

I am having GT3 RS with a manual gearbox for a mechanical feel, AMG GT Black Series for looks and best track times and a McLaren speed tail just because! And then I woke up...

Honestly my 15 year old NA 2.0 4 cyl with a stock exhaust sounds better.

Need to see it in black or a dark grey. Not a fan of the orange and black combo. But that's just my opinion.

this car would make a lot more sense if it had it's own "club" racing series like the Lamborghini Super Trofeo or Ferrari Challenge series.

This specific car is for sale in Dubai @shmee150 just did the initial review on this car like a day ago first customer car to be received in the world and already up for sale if ut hasnt resold again already

I was surprised, the GT is 2 sec. faster then the 765LT around a Track.

There wasn't any mention of it, but I have to wonder why the wheels aren't carbon fiber. If your clientele is spending this kind of money on a car, you know they have the means to afford another $20,000 for carbon wheels to be standard. Plus the fact that you're saving at least 50lbs of unsprung weight around the car, it should allow the engine to spool a little faster since the drive train isn't fighting to turn as much weight on each end of the rear axle.
