If you're going to clean up tree roots look for sassafrass trees. You might not find gold in the roots, but when you get the roots good and clean you cut them off and brew you some good ole sassafrass tea right on the bank. Just make sure to bring a little sugar. Good stuff. Tastes like warm rootbeer. Not bad for something to warm up with after playing in the water for a while. Lol
Excellent! Great show!

Where can a man find one of those nugget suckers? Enjoy your vids.
Lots of bedrock crevices! Ideal spot to find decent gold!
I always pour the extra water in the bucket out into the sluice just in case there is floating gold in there.you go to all the trouble to get it so I think I Don't want to lose it

Make a video on how to put a hand dredge together. 🤔😃
What degree angle is your sluice box at? I couldn't tell but it looked a Lil bit extreme for that flow. You're doing good 👍🏾
The stone that you held it first look like the old type of knives that the cavemen used to use to cut open a deer or something
That last Arrowhead type you picked up in your panning room looks to be a block that that they took flakes off of to make Arrowheads. If so, cool find. I would love to see a Arrowhead used to shoot fish with, if any of the Indians in that area did so. I would love to put you on some Oregon river gold bro. The beaches at the mouth of the Colombia river where it dumps into the ocean are BLACK. One five gallon bucket almost full can weigh over one hundred pounds. Each pan can have hundreds of small pieces. Fun place. Look up the mine in Liberty Washington that's still running. They call it the potato patch for the nuggets that come out of there. So in other words the gold at both ends of the spectrum around here are pretty spectacular. Come on out whenever you want, but things are best in late summer/early fall for the rivers and for the beaches any time is fine but the best is rite after the winter storms.
If you ask me your gold is coming from that bedrock eroding outI think that bedrock is your host Rock it's not the everyday limestone that you find here in Missouri looks to be very iron rich that chunk that you pulled outwith the pyrite vein is the kind of stuff it could be coming from

Hey bud,, I'm in Missouri,, Lebanon area. I have a question.. so you know when your driving and the road was cut through a big hill or small mountain. As you drive through it you can see the bed rock and many cracks. I know its not at a river, but do you think that area would have any fine glacier gold from Canada. I think about it every time I drive through one. What's your thoughts?
Interesting to actually watch the hand dredge suck up the material. Nice bedrock.

Thanks and the nugget trapper is awesome !
Peter grifin is that you?
looks like from under water you too fast on the pick up on your hand pump..scatters rocks everywhere... try pulling then lowing end where you pull then lift.
Can you find gold in any creek or only with bedrock?
wondering why you dont use a magnet under the pan to get the metal to seperate from the rest then take it out of the pan

Do you have a good metal detector, waterproof?
I don’t know anything about this, but it looks like with that water running through your sluice at hurricane force, little gold could remain in your sluice.
Blue bowl sir and jet dry in the water
What part of Missouri are you in?
Yeah. I see you using your dredging tool to get at that gravel. Gotta get away from that sand, and in to the gravel in order to get something besides flour gold.
Wish i could hunt for gold more. I've only been one time

Lol usually.
I live in alaska where every driveway panned has some gold an more in some than others. The strangest one was a piece of volcanic rock with pock marks everywhere on it was laying in the yard' My son was banging it on the sidewalk. Out of the holes was coming flakes of dirt an some fine rock. I went over to encourage him to quit as he was little and mimicked every one. And he said just looking for gold so I bent down to pretend with him.Wasn't long I was yelling at the wife to bring the dustpan and I scooped him under my arm and went for my pan. Over a half ounce came from that rock. we split it three ways to be fair and so I counted the dollars out. One for him and one for mom then one for him and one for me. Till it was gone. He was sharp. he saw his pile was higher than ours so he counted it out and he went in a circle and it ran out in moms favor so he took one out of his pile and put it in mine and then said, "I would of just played in it so you guys can have mine." That was over twenty years going on thirty, and he is still mining! He wasn't four yet then I have dabbled in it for over fifty years and done well at times but was lean picking most time. I had enough in taxes that it made a big difference. I wish I could still walk ..... I would still pan could I get out as it gets into you.. I always found gold just above the hardpan
Having first run substantial sand through your slice, and then later, bedrock crevice gravel, there is no way, in the end to determine how much of your gold came from the sand, and how much from the crevices, nor what area of each produced the best results.
Compressed sedimentary.
That water is to fast kyle, one inch rock pass floating through there what you think is going to happen tu a little speck of gold ? Come and sence body
What state are you in.
I love mine, however when I can I’m going to add a second section with the low flow mat. Drives me crazy to dump in all the hard work and it’s gone in seconds. I want all the insurance I can get. Great video. 👍👍👍
To my mind the sluice is not long enough and gold will be carried straight out the other end with most of the material. But then again what would I know! Cheers and a great video.
