Part 2 of Land of Spectra is about this:

- that nuclei can spontaneously transform into other ones,
- about fission, the release of alpha particles and beta decays,
- what is a spectrum and what is nuclear spectroscopy,
- about experiments involving the excitation of stable nuclei using accelerators,
- about building schemes of excitation of its nuclei,
- on the method of using and introducing unstable nuclei by nucleus fusion,
- about deformations of the nucleus and rotational bands,
- and finally, that there are still many fascinating puzzles waiting to be solved.

8:16 ok, tłumaczycie idiocie tak, że powinien zrozumieć (tak się wydaje), ale idiota w tym momencie pyta: JAK ONO DECYDUJE? czy to oznacza, że ma wolną wolę: może zdecyduje a może nie, jak przebiega proces decyzyjny? czym różni się takie wyjaśnianie naukowe od wyjaśnień typu: duch św. zstąpił na dziewicę i poczęła syna ... ?

Drogi PJ! W tym filmie nie wkraczamy w sferę mechaniki kwantowej - ale tak właśnie trzeba to rozumieć. I w dodatku nie wiemy czy ta przemiana nastąpi po sekundzie, czy po dziesiątkach tysięcy lat. Wiemy tylko, że statystycznie po jakimś czasie, zwanym połowicznym czasem rozpadu - (półrozpadem) połowa jąder tego typu się rozpadnie. Nie wiemy które to będą. Nie wiemy jak one decydują czy się rozpaść teraz, czy za 10 lat. PJ, skoro zadajesz takie pytanie, to znaczy, że jesteś widzem myślącym. Kochamy takich! Pozdrawiam, Jurek
