I haven't added any EQ or processing to the guitar tracks. There's just some slight mastering processing on the main output

Yeah I'm thinking about turning it into a full song with proper vocals and longer arrangement.

That mix was sick. Could totally see it as a KoRn song. Nu metal had its share of crap, but I always fucked with KoRn so hard.

Hi Gary! As always your video is super informative. What string gauge did you use to set PRS SE Mike Mushok Baritone(if I'm not mistaken) to Drop B0?

The Mushok is in Drop B (11-62 set). But my custom 7 string Baritone in the beginning is in Drop B0. So the 1st to 6th strings are in Drop B. And then the 7th string is B0 using a 100 Bass VI string gauge.

I really hated nu metal back then... and your demo brought back unpleasant memories, so good work, I guess haha. Seriously, leaving the personal taste behind, it sounds really good.

i was born in 98 and raised in alberta canada so mainly country music so when i was in the car and someone put on the radio playing the 90's nu metal and rock was always in love... now im 24 and its still my favorite genre

Seriously, when's your Nu-Metal album hitting Apple Music so I can listen to it obsessively and drive my partner up the wall?
