Thanks for the video of me in the background of the first stage! This was probably my best match with the 22. On the rooftop I used a bipod but struggled with it, first time using the MDT Ckye pod and I think it was not adjusted quite right and was a little too loose and floppy. Keep on making the videos, I really do enjoy them. Cya at the next match.

Yes sir! This is what im talking about! You never answered my queston in the GRND POD live stream a few months back. This a perfect example of what I wanted to know about your process and how you work out a shooting problem. M-FNFN-M-FNF-M. This, is brilliant. Well done Copper Star! (Because spotting this stage sucks too)

Thanks, and sorry I didn't get to your question earlier. Kind of hard to give examples without having a real course description like this. Everyone has their own system as well, but this is what made sense to me. I saw some other people struggling with their DOPE cards and they also liked my format.

Excellent shooting! 7th OA on wobbly props is damn impressive. The Gen 1 Match Pro looked good, Match pro’s, imo, deserve more credit but I had to pull mine out of the box to double check something that I noticed. Bushnell slightly changed the reticle from my 2021 model and your turrets are way more audible… has me thinking slightly devious thoughts! 😂😂😂😂 Great job man!!

Thank you! Very happy with my performance. I do think the match pro is great value for ~$300 street price. I wasn't aware of the reticle change, but maybe you have the OG match pro which I think had a zero stop. This one doesn't. The clicks are good, but you might be hearing them a bit louder than they are in person because they are being picked up by the microphone on the TriggerCam. Still very tactile though.

@@CopperStarPrecision Sub $300?? That’s a steal for a .22 setup. I think I paid close to $550 for mine. I no longer use it but have kept it in the rings for backup. I put a Gen 2 match Pro on the current 457 build and for a .22 and the money, it is awesome. I can’t understand how they offer the same glass and better features than the Elite series for so much less $. Once I heal up from surgery, I’ll put up a video of the Gen 2.

@@CopperStarPrecision the reticle has changed. There was no numbers on the vertical part until you get to 3 mils and a break in the line between 2 and 2.5 mils both vertical and horizontal.

I saw your recommendation in your other video to go front bag on the rooftop and I thought "Hmm, he's better than me, he's smarter than me, he's better looking than me. But in this particular case, he ain't right." Still good shooting.

Haha! Yeah, that was a total lapse in judgement on my part. Sad thing is that every other person on the squad used the bipod and did very well on the stage. I guess they saw me and thought "well, that's not the way to do it".

When you shoot rooftops you gotta flip the hat backwards. It tightens up your SD's by 4-5fps. Lolz!

The way I see it, 1st place in the Base class, well done. Do you have a weight attached to your rail? I've attached to my CZ 457 and makes balancing the rifle easy work.

Thank you! I have the Da'Rail weighted rail and added about 2 lbs. of copper to the front of it to get the balance perfect. Since I run the TriggerCam that's an additional pound on the back of the scope so I needed some extra weight in the front to account for that. Without the camera the rifle balances pretty well with just the weighted Arca rail.

Did my first nrl22 match. Pretty ugly. I may not show my face there again. You make it look easy.

I've been there. The only way to go from the bottom is up! At the end of the day this is an acquired skill and it takes time and practice to learn the ins and outs of the game. As long as you're staying safe and learning stick with it! If there's anything I can help with let me know.

Yes it is. It's my base class rifle for this season. I have a build series on the channel which I will be adding more videos in the next weeks.
