Are you buying a Mclaren 650? Then this is the video to watch. In this buying and depreciation guide of the 650s, I show you the depreciation per year and per 1000 miles driven. Furthermore, I show how the prices relate to the ones of the McLaren Mp4-12c, 570S, and 720S. At the end of the video, I also show what a fair purchasing price is.

The video is structured in a top-down way. That means that we first have a look at the full market and some general price levels. After this, we will dive into the details.
Specifically, this means that the video for the Mclaren 650s is split into a few parts. We will start off with an analysis of the full 650s market and see how the prices relate to the 12c, 570S, and 720s. In the second part, we will focus on the 650s market and figure out the depreciation per year and per 1000 miles driven. In the third part, I will show you how all of the numbers compare to some other cars. We will namely compare the rates of the 650S to the ones of the Ferrari 458, Porsche GT3 RS and Porsche 911 Turbo. Finally, we will use all of the depreciation numbers and the depreciation curves of the other Mclaren models to forecast the prices of the 650S. Based on this, it seems that the worst depreciation is behind us and that the values will stabilize. When you purchase a 650S though, it is important to keep the reliability in mind. It is then also recommended to get it with an extended warranty.

I am still floored by the steepness of the Mclaren 720S curve. It was not what I expected. At any rate, it seems the 650S is faring better than the 720S, much to my surprise.

Would love to see a full market analysis on the MP4-12C. Already 8 years of data and more model years to analyze than the 650s. The MP4-12C is known to the the best bang for buck vehicle you can buy. Is it close to the bottom? Like for a review!!

Since we now have the Huracan Evo, I am curious how the Huracan Performantes are doing, maybe compared to Huracan and the Evo markets (for insights where the Evo will go). I can tell you my predication will be.

What about a Boxster 986 analysis. I’m pretty sure they have hit the bottom, but I’d love to know what the numbers say for manual S variants as far as fair purchase price goes, and it would round out the water cooled two-door analyses for Porsche on your channel.
Would love to see an update on the 650S market as this is a year old now.

They’re running at around 150k which is crazy because their original msrp was close to 300k.
650S, most reliable super I've ever owned, period. Completely bullet proof. I mean its not even direct injection.
