Novavax (Covovax) update - Compare hi/lo vaccination rates - Seroprevalence from CDC

Three topics of interest: The first, an update on the status of the Novavax vaccine. And second, are the billions of dollars going into the pockets of vaccine producers making a difference? And last I ask, Do you wonder what percentage of the US population has some immunity to COVID, either from vaccine or infection? I’ll try to answer that for you.

Ageed, nice to see a doctor who actually sounds scientific and unbias. Asto his question, I think from this data you have to conclude that Delta is more infectious than previous strains. In light of that, any advantage the vaccines gave in transmision reduction seem to have been cancelled out by this increase in delta transmisability. In other words, it's a wash. If that's indeed the case, there would still seem to be a benefit in the vaccine even on this metric. We can also conclude that these current vaccines then are in no way "steralising", that endpoint is just not something we can hope for right now. Covid then is endemic and will be with us for the longer term. This might change in the future with other novel vaccines and or early treatments like anti virals that can be used to lower the R0 to below 1 consistantly. Animal resovours are a problem though even in this senario. Lastly, the second endpoint of severe desease or death is really what these vaccines seem to effect, which is perhaps something the good doctor can look at next instead of infection rates. Infection rates being high is not the end of the world if this endpoint of mortality and serious illness are limited . Further more, a composite immunity of both vaccine indused and by infection might be a plus going into winter, so high infection rates now might be of benefit later.

Did you say the same sentence twice at the end? The vax situation is this: If the vaxes were that good, people wouldn’t be guilt-tripped, coerced, or forced to take them. At the end of the day, someone can still catch, spread and die from Covid whether they are vaxed or not. And that is where the conversation should end in my opinion, especially if you start talking about boosters. We can’t keep doing the same thing and expecting different results.

  • @johnsuggs7828

Insanity or more accurately stupidity. Boosters are supposed to be given because the immunity is weakening. Naturally occurring immunity doesn't weaken or go dormant as long as the pathogen which prompted the immunity remains active viable in the environment. Nature doesn't create nor maintains nothing without a reason. If the immunity is weakening, it's more than likely not holding or was never there in good amounts to begin with. Point being if the immunity was created due to a viable viral sample or exposure then the immunity would remain until the virus which prompted it is absent in the environment for a long time. I'm talking generations. The presence of the virus active in the environment acts as a natural booster to keep the immunity active.

Why is that. I believe people on the fence about vaccination would be more likely to get this one but it appears the company is having difficulty with government approval. Here’s something to think about. The mRNA vaccines by the FDA’s own definition is experimental gene therapy. Countries around the world have defined mRNA vaccines as experimental gene therapy. The FDA used to clearly say just that. They removed that from their website. Politicians said the vaccines were therapy when the vaccines where rolled out. Why would they start to lie to the public? Why would Dr. Fauci circumvent US law and move COVID research and researchers to the Wuhan lab in China. He said “it is research that had to be done but it was to dangerous to do in say a lab in New Jersey, so doing it in China is needed”. Why did the good Doctor sign off on giving a group that funded the research at the Wuhan lab millions of dollars. Why did that same group apply for a grant from DARPA in 2018, asking for 14 million dollars to fund research a the Wuhan lab in which they wanted to release a modified Corona virus that could infect humans into the wild. Why did Dr. Fauci say, right before Trump was sworn in, the coming administration would face a surprise virus outbreak. When the virus outbreak first happened, Chinese media told there public that the Chinese government arrested US researchers for releasing the virus. They Suspected them of being CIA or part of some kind of intelligence agency from the United States. That was never reported in the west and was never brought up again by anyone. Why did Bill Gates say if he had one wish it would be to vaccinate the whole world, if I could do that I could reduce the world’s population by billions. Why does Bill Gates work closely with Dr. Fauci. Bill Gates is one of the largest donors to the WHO and even worked closely with the Chinese to place their people into key positions. Then you find out that he owns a company called BlackRock, it makes vaccines. They where caught experimenting on Africans with different vaccines. Vaccines that cause infertility first and foremost. The CFR said in documents that we need to reduce the population of the world by 2/3’s to save the environment. Hillary Clinton said I get my marching orders from CFR I’m glad the new building is within walking distance of my house. Joe Biden said as Vice President I get my orders from the CFR, they told me what to do in the Ukraine.

What is really disturbing to me is, after this mass vaccination, the vaccinated were told that they could remove their masks. Then, infections spiked. Common sense tells me that the vaccinated are asymptomatic. Now it's shown that the vaccinated ARE symptomatic. Yet, employers are firing unvaccinated people stating that they can infect their workforce. How is that if as soon as you're vaccinated, you have the chance to become asymptomatic in a couple of weeks? Also, if the vaccine works so well, why are people worried about being infected? Here are a couple of other things to ponder... If the vaccine works, why has there been a request for everyone (including vaccinated people) to wear their masks again, even indoors? If the vaccine works, why are you worried about if others get the shot or not? Vaccines in the past have not made people asymptomatic and there were not "breakthrough" infections. If you were vaccinated in the past, you weren't put in the hospital for what you were just vaccinated against. That is NOT a vaccine. I wear N95 masks that have a NIOSH rating, everywhere. I know that I am protecting others from getting it if I have it and I am protected from getting it from others (for the most part). I feel safer wearing a N95 mask, than getting the jab. Wearing the mask can be "turned off" by removing it, whereas if you take the shot, that action can't be turned off... ever.

Thank you doctor. In the UK, mortality among the under 50s is literally higher in the fully vaccinated group compared to the unvaccinated. In Israel, the number of cases is higher proportionally among the fully vaccinated Efficacy isn't the only consideration as well. There's also harm and risk of antibody dependent enhancement. In the US, VAERS is the only database we have to track side effects. Yet whenever it's brought up, it's ridiculed by the mainstream and government agencies. If it's so bad, why don't we have an alternative? This is the largest vaccination scheme in human history, but we don't want to accurately track side effects? And the ones we are tracking indicate that it's the most dangerous roll out in history. Why are we continuing despite lack of supporting evidence?

Vaers does not track side effects of anything. It is a collection of reports of adverse effects; no causal effects are assigned on the Vaers database. You cannot do that just by looking at Vaers.

Two questions: 1. Did Phizer get their vaccine pushed through for approval because they could see NovaVax in their rear view mirror? 2. Also, if you have already had the mRNA vaccines and wish, in future, to get the NovaVax instead, will the remnants of the mRNA, attack the NovaVax vaccine leaving it useless or worse, making people sick? I'm not trying to start a conspiracy however if the mRNA producers thought their product would render the more traditional vaccines useless then that just might explain why there is such a push to try and get everyone vaxed before companies like NovaVax come on board. There has been a lot of push by governments (that has bordered on the criminal) to force everyone to get the vaccines ASAP and some people, uninformed or not, aren't buying a forceful compliance.

A much better question would be what percentage of hospitalized patients are unvaccinated, and what percentage of patients on ventilators are unvaccinated. Nelson Foster. You are on the right lines. However the specific figure to look at is the proportion of vaccinated people who are hospitalised Vs the proportion of the unvaccinated who are hospitalised, age group by age group. This is quite different from the proportions of hospitalised people who are or are not vaccinated. I have noticed people using the latter figure, which is sensitive to the proportion vaccinated and not just to vaccine effectiveness. The video here is immensely frustrating because it ignores the different relative hospitalisation rates, ignores the differences in effectiveness at controlling infection, hospitalisation and death, and ignores the effect of behaviour on infection rates. Without stating any untruths it ignores the most important factors and so misleads.

Well, it seems vaccines don't prevent infection. It's said they reduce severity, though the majority of hospitalized patients in Israel were vaccinated. It appears more likely that the reduction in the death rate is due more to bedside doctors' understanding better the disease process after a year and a half of treating it. That's why medicines are so important treating the disease BEFORE the body responds with a cytokine storm which, if it happens, sets in around day 7. So pushing for vaccines as the way out of this pandemic is clearly not the answer. Besides, with a leaky vaccine and a highly mutating virus, it's almost laughable to think a vaccine would be the answer....unless the policy was to profit off this deadly pandemic and not necessarily treat it....which makes sense when you see vaccine companies and their protectors guiding public health policy training their big guns on cheap off-patent repurposed drugs so as to protect the marketplace for their ineffective vaccines and soon-to-come highly expensive copies of already available medicines.

Hi Nelson Foster, just as you say positive test or exposure and infection are not the same thing, likewise vaccination and immunity are not the same!. It is reasonable to suggest that exactly the same percentage of the population that suffers severe illness do not acquire immunity when vaccinated!, form some of the data we get out of western democracies it seems that as many an one quarter of the population are liable to severe illness and death, since this implies compromised immune response we should assume the same proportion is unable to benefit from any vaccine as well!. I think this would account for part of the why that so many vaccinated people are dying with Covid 19. On the understanding that this is not entirely wrong and the fact that a very high proportion of all new infections are contracted from a tiny percentage of infected people and all infected vaccinated people can be transmitters it would appear that the vaccination programme as an infection control measure was always doomed to failure!. Cheers, Richard.

@@hiview3977 we weren't able to test the first time because it was Feb 2020, and at that time in my area, you couldn't get testing unless you were at a convention that took place in Boston (was a huge super spreader) or had traveled. The symptoms started with my daughter...her entire dance had it, and one girl had been hospitalized. My daughter had a very high fever (103+), severe headache, and a butterfly rash across the bridge of her nose. I actually thought her lyme had reignited, after her previous month's battle with flu A. It lasted about 4 days for her. My younger daughter and I had both been close to her. My younger daughter then developed the high fever, but no other real symptoms besides being sleepy for the week. A month or so later, she did have 2 sets of beau's lines on her big toe nails...I'm figuring one was from the flu, the other covid. For me, I had a low grade fever (I never get a fever) and was just tired for the week. But then, after a few days I had no sense of taste or smell, yet no stuffy or runny nose. And then came the worst bronchial spasms of my life! Truly scary. I didn't think I had covid because I thought covid meant you just died. I was afraid to go to the dr, so I used some prednisone that my husband had...I believe this kept me out of the hospital. My oldest son had no symptoms, but later developed petechiae - he had thrombocytopenia and was jaundiced. It was chalked up to a "blood virus". By that time we were on lockdown and had no contact with anyone outside our "bubble". My husband, younger son, daughter's boyfriend and my grandmother (lives with us) did not have any symptoms. My husband slept in the same room as my daughter and I. Fast forward to now, and all but one of the family members have tested positive. It started with a known close contact, who's test was apparently a false negative. It started with the daughter's boyfriend, closely followed by my daughter. Their symptoms were mostly nasal burning, and very tired. My older daughter had a low grade fever for a day or two, but nothing close to what she had the first time. After a day or two, they lost their sense of smell and taste, and felt a bit winded one day. My daughter continues to have some residual coughing. My husband then followed with the same symptoms as the other 2. I had "symptoms" all throughout the duration of them being sick, but tested negative 4 times. It was more like almost an immune reaction to a vaccine... but then I finally came up positive 2 days after my husband. No fever for my husband or I. I did not have nasal burning. I basically felt the exact same way I did the first time, just to a lesser degree... I lost my sense of smell & taste again, but this time actually did have a stuffy nose, and it's not as complete as it was the first time. I did have some permanent sense of smell/taste damage from last time. I have some decent bronchial spasms, but not as scary as last time. Again, I am taking a very small dose of prednisone, which takes the edge off. For my other children... my two youngest tested positive on the same day. My son had a sore throat, and low grade fever, and felt a little winded one day. My younger daughter had a 101.5 fever and didn't even know it! I could see it on her face. They had an occasional low grade fever (99) for a couple days, and my son has an occasional sore throat and cannot smell. My younger daughter has had no symptoms at all, except and occasional cough or sneeze. My older son (blood virus boy) hung tight for a full 11 days before having any sort of symptoms and tested negative multiple times over that time. He has a mild sore throat, no fever, had a mild sinus type headache, and today has had the nasal pain start. I watch all of my kids (obviously) but I will watch him a bit more closely, since he has a history of bronchial spasms/asthma like I do. And 90 year old nana is barricaded in her room, currently with no symptoms. I did test her yesterday, and she was negative. That's about it. Hope it wasn't too long...

Big Pharma,MK Ultra media, medical establishment, govtms have been able to put this into the minds of the people and they are buying it. There are effective proven safe treatments that have been so successful in treating covid and those things have been suppressed in order to promote the vaccine.Dr.Chetty in South Africa has treated over 6000 covid patients with early treatment & success rate of no deaths & only 4 hospitalizations.Whereas in America they are giving Remdeservir & killing many people & putting it under covid bracket to inflate the numbers. Why has not been a vaccine for sars(Cov1),H1N1,Ebola,Zika,Mers? With effective medical treatment people were able to recover from those. For corona type of virus there hasn't been a successful vaccine produced all this time as the animal studies have failed. So all of a sudden you put your trust on a covid19 vaccine which has been rushed to the market. There are certain things you have to run it's course like for a vaccine given for humans. I disagree on your comment saying that this vaccine is immune to the virus. If it is immune how come people are infecting and transmitting to others. Recent scientific study in vietnam says the viral load of the vaccinated and nonvaccinated are similar & vaccinated are shedding more viral load on others. Dr.Li-Meng is the who says so about the origin of the virus and she has more on the ground knowledge regarding this virus as she had worked in these Chinese labs. Regarding the novavax given below is a good description by Dr.Jane Ruby. Btw Novavax is also a funder to CDC. Why Frontline doctors are touting the upcoming “novavax vaccine” as “safe & effective” A few realities… 1. It’s not a vaccine 2. They insert the chimeric computer generated mRNA into a baculovirus and then infects moths with it that then produce trillions of spike proteins 3. They harvest those spike proteins, embed them into a graphene sheet and inject them by the billions into human beings 4. That is not safe nor is it effective at anything except harming human organs and facilitating thrombogenicity in the vascular epithelium As Dr. David Martin says, “if you call it a vaccine you’ve already lost the argument” let’s not perpetrate this farce over the world’s citizens by even referring to these as vaccines, perpetuating the myth that these are preventing disease. People are dying.

@@bmphil3400 Just to correct. The vaccination rates that I quoted should have been even lower than indicated. Around 16% fully vaccinated and 21% one dose, not 21% fully vaccinated as I indicated. The point remains that the rate of vaccination is low at the time of exit from the third wave of the virus.

What’s apparent to me is this is the herd immunity that’s been achieved naturally. I also believe they have a low vaccination %, as opposed to whites who were hit quite hard in this last wave. I might add I contacted 19 in June and found relief after 10 days by taking ivermectin, within 3 days I went back to work. Johannesburg, South Africa.

So I thought herd immunity was when ~80%of the population showed signs of immunity either through natural ability or vaccine. Doesn't the data at the end of the video from the CDC show almost 90% ? Doesn't that mean we've reached herd immunity?

Hi Andy Works, last year when all this bollocks about 'herd immunity' first cropped up I had to do some research, it turns out the the expression relates to the way in which an effective vaccination campaign can prevent the community spread of an infectious disease so that those that are vulnerable for reasons related to weak immune response a re all sheltered by the vaccinated 'herd' that can't give it to them because while they can still be infected they will not be infectious. None of this can or will work while the disease is rampant in the population!, this was not explained or discussed at this time for purely political and ideological reasons, any proper criticism from people that know better was suppressed, quite fro why I do not know. Subsequently we have derived a new term which is more appropriate, this is 'community' immunity whereby at such time as enough people within a specific community have been exposed to the virus and have developed effective immunity the disease stops spreading in that community and the vulnerable cohort within that community are safer, at least from those around them. What we see now is that while isolated communities all over the world that have 'enjoyed' an outbreak other communities are still at risk!, because in reality this virus does not spread anything like as far and fast as first suggested this is going to take a very long time!, even a cursory glance at the current global statistics look as if it will take several years before even forty percent of all communities have had a go on it!. Cheers, Richard.

Hello Dr. Kelly and thank you for sharing this video. I have more questions to add: Is it possible that small exposures from people with mild cases can act as immunity “stimulation” and therefor could be why areas with less strict policies seem to be doing better? I wouldn’t mind getting a small viral load instead of a vaccine, since I work hard to keep healthy. How does anyone really know if the vaccines are working (aside from the confusing data you shared) because you can’t test an individual to see if they would have had a mild case without the vaccine - SINCE MOST PEOPLE GOT MILD CASES originally? Isn’t this the same kind of virus as the common cold, and we get cases of the cold more than once in our lifetime?

Early on during the initial variant of 2020 many people seem to forget that 40% of people exposed/infected with the beer bug showed no symptoms and did not contribute significantly to the spread and that 99% of people had nothing to worry about overall (the accepted IFR/CFR was .12-.23 % at that time). What a lot of the comments above seem to forget is the absolute risk reduction and how little difference the jab has made in absolute risk reduction. In Canada our 2020 rate of mortality in the under 60 age group for the whole year was 0.00% and in the under 20 age group was 0.0000% (I left the 1 off the end to be facetious). The suggestion that someone under 60 years of age in my 37.652 million person cohort "Needs" the jab to return to normal unrestricted life is ludicrous. In the U.S. that age is under 40 but your data is so corrupted I don't know if we can trust it. Actually every countries data is corrupted because a multi billion dollar marketing campaign continues to cloud the arguments. Comparing the hospitalized who have had the jab or not is an important contribution but has much less meaning than everyone in these comments sections think. Harvard showed that almost 50% of 500000 beer bug hospitalizations studied in 2021 did not in fact have the disease (full blown disease is different than asymptomatic or mild symptoms=a positive "test"). Although in an individual research study I hope the criteria for categorizing people is a bit stricter than the "testing" has been. The CDC set a strict limit of 28 cycle thresholds for testing people who have had the jab with PCR yet all last year most labs in the United States were using thresholds above 37-40 even in healthy people. False positives in some areas hit over 97%. The CDC report looking at hospitalizations and claiming 99% of hospitalizations were unjabbed had the majority of their cases from a time when the overwhelming majority of the population had not yet met the criterion for being "jabbed". They did not report the month after their reporting cut off period which showed hospitalizations in the jabbed representing over the 25% level. As wonderful as this as yet unapproved jab technology is no one in the US is receiving an "approved" jab until sometime in 2022 (I know P fizer and Comirnaty are the same thing but the "approved" Comirnaty is not being given out to people yet because an approved jab would make the manufacturer liable for any damages from it). The whole point of this long winded reply is if you want to get the jab please do but if you are healthy and young anyone telling you that you "need" it is talking out their ass. Have a nice week.

Dr. Kelly here's a question that nobody seems to be asking; were the PCR test cycle rates the same for both periods of time or consistent across the time period? What were they actually? We know that PCR cycle rates above 28 are fairly meaningless. We also know that cycle rates in the mid-30s and upwards will almost always result in a 'positive' result. Perhaps differences in those cycle rates could explain a lot.

Dr. Kelly, Your reporting exactly what I have been asking about for months. Vaccination didn't change the graphs. If in fact vaccination were effective we should have seen an accelerated down turn in the graphs as more people received their injections. Even the first injection should have moved the graphs at least a little bit. But no graph anywhere was moved. Instead what we see is that as area's achieved significantly high percentage of vaccinations, that was when the Delta variant took off. I suspect that the only real result from vaccination was that when a sick person was tested after being vaccinated they tested negative. Testing neg for the virus and being sick has a similar end result. So what really needs to be ascertained is whether there was a decrease in hospitalization and death of people with co-morbidities after vaccination, not whether they tested positive or negative for the virus. In other words did your likelihood of death from symptoms similar to covid-19 change after vaccination whether testing positive or negative for the virus at the time of those symptoms or death. It's of little use to test negative if you died anyway. I haven't seen anyone look at that those numbers. I don't even know how to find those numbers.

I agree the only true metric you can attribute to this vaccine is survivability, it clearly doesn't change transmission. The death rates seem to have taken a backseat to cases, cases the vaccine doesn't control.

@@curlybrownk9 death rates only take a back-seat in videos that are trying to show flaws in the vaccine. He mentions death rates and hospitalisation rates in this vid but doesn't dare show the rates or it would make the vaccine look effective. Maine has 50% of the cases that Idaho has but only 6% of the deaths over the past 7 days. Countries like Israel have a majority of severe illness and death from unvaccinated yet all the talk is of the cases now.

Our error from the beginning of this pandemic was to think that global organizations were being altruistic with their solutions. The possible reality is that the waning of vaccine efficacy and the shedding effect that causes the vaccinated to be superspreaders according to the CDC themselves, may well have been a calculated outcome for perpetuation of fear and control. This pandemic has been the perfect pretext for seizure of civil rights and development of tyrannical laws, all while the virus remains uncontained.
